Heart Island Comic Update!
Added 2016-08-05 21:52:38 +0000 UTCI've been putting down panels for Heart Island. A few pages are already done and even colored! This is the linework for the first page, in which, Alice stares at a bird.
I still don't know when the comic will be completely done, but I'm happy to say that I should still have time to get back to work on Batty Roommate this October.
Also, for fun, and for those who are curious, here is the script for the first page. I write most of my scripts this way, so it's kind of an interesting look into how I work.
Heart Island,
Chapter 1
[Scene: Plane, preflight]-Full shot of the plane, a bird is flying to it
-Closer shot of the bird landing on the wing. Alice is visible through the window.
-Push to the window, part of the bird in the shot. Alice has a soft smile.
Consider this her first character shot-Inside shot, from the other side of Alice. She is looking out at the bird still.
-A man steps into frame and surprises Alice.
"Pardon me, miss."
