As it's been said even in the earliest episodes of the abridged series there are references to material that happens waaaaayyyy later. Honestly to get the full experience as painful as it is it'll be, the most rewarding is if you wait to watch the abridged series after the end of watching the original show. The movies though mostly deal with the saga they are placed in's knowledge with a few outside references thrown in so they will be safe to watch soon.

It’s been a while hi everyone. I’ve got a few things to go through. I’ve been loving the reactions they are awesome. First about dragon ball z abridged. 1. The point in dragon ball z where no more spoilers come about would be episode 232 but at that point you are only 59 episodes from the end of Z so my suggestion is to just finish Z first. 2. There are “just from the top of my head” 1 joke reference to something in GT in one of the abridged Movies and one joke to Super in another. They don’t spoil anything but the joke will not make sense but it isn’t anything major. 3. They did abridged versions of the Z movies up to the point in the Z timeline when those movies best made sense to fit in and there are occasional references to them. So you would need to watch the movies first. Speaking of Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Super movies/OVAs/Specials now. 1. You could technically wait to watch them until the end. But there are a few that I believe should be watched during and 1 that needs to be watched. 2. If anyone has opinions on this let me know but movie 1. The Dead Zone needs to be watched fairly soon for reasons I can’t go into deeply but a filler arc in the near future will be dealing with things that happened in this movie. And it will be much more satisfying if you see this movie before you get there. Specifically before getting to episode 108. 3. I’m of the opinion that we should watch all the movies during at about the time I had put in the list of movies comment I made long ago. But I get that it can sometimes interrupt the flow so I have a few suggestions if anyone would like hear them and weigh in with their opinions/suggestions as well. 4. Dragon ball z has a few times of peace where the occasion time skip happens my suggestion is that when these occur before going past the time skip watch the movies that took place in the era that just finished. 5. If this is something you would like to do then I would say right after episode 125 watch a batch that go up to that point then right after episode 199 then after z then gt movie after gt then super movie after super. 6. Also if needed I am willing to use my extra reactions to do the movies if we want that. Sorry for such a long message everyone. Life has been rough for a while now and these have been the brightest parts of my week. Love all you geeks here I am so glad to be watching with all of you.

Ah yes, the Ginyu force, DBZ's evil Sentai squad. Their arrival adds two more Sabat voiced characters; Recoome, the giant man of many poses and Jeice, the red space Australian. It's been a while since I've watched all of Abridged but, it does sneak in spoilers for later episodes in their jokes. To be 100% safe you could wait until after you've finished episode 194 because that is as far as the show covers before they decided to stop making Abridged. Should also note, though I'm sure it's been said before, they "Abridged" the DBZ films and fit them into where it would make sense chronologically in the series so, it might be worth the time to check those out as well before jumping in.

please dont do adbridged until after yall finished dbz its too many spoilers you guys are forgeting after dragon ball z yall have dragon ball super but if yall want yall can do adbridged with dragon ball super because super is not in adbridged theres still so much dbz left adbridged can wait
