The other thing is that the dialogues and names were changed in a very weird way in this version. Many times the dialogues just don't make sense, or they are adding their own "lore". Like with Piccolo saying he will defuse with Nail to make the scene less dark and creepy. No, Nail dies when merging into Piccolo, they cannot defuse and I'm pretty sure Nail warned Piccolo about it in the original.

I can't believe I made it this far watching DBZ with american dub. I just love your reactions so it's not gonna stop me from watching XD! But try it in japanese one day. The original voices are beautiful, much more organic and emotional. I didn't grow up with it, but a small glimpse can jerk a tear out of my eye. It's a masterpiece in Japanese. The songs too, there were songs, especially in DB, that were cut out of he episodes or overpowered by many added dialogues that didn't exist in the original.

Monday, October 18th 2021, Chris Ayres, the iconic voice of Frieza in DBZ Kai and all Dragonball content going forward died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease after battling it for years. As someone for whom his performance quite literally changed the course of my life, this is devastating. I'm sorry you haven't had the chance to properly meet him yet. Thankfully he has at least one understudy who is comparable, but he was the trailblazer who defined the one and only Lord Frieza for a new generation of Dragonball fans. He will be sorely... SORELY missed.

Okay, so it appears that you’re going to be watching the DBZ filler arcs, which I can understand. But there’s something you should know about the upcoming arc after you finish the Namek saga. The arc is actually actually a follow up to the Dragon Ball movie, Dead Zone, where the villain of the arc is introduced. So, if you are going to watch the upcoming filler arc (good luck) I would watch the Dead Zone movie first.

I will say that the music from here on out is insanely good in the western falconer dub but i understand you girls not being able to see it. Guess I'll have to organize a special viewing session with you to show you the alternate dubs and scores their were at some point soon. Glad you liked the gifts, hope they all made your days there a little brighter. Plus a good use of Harry Potter stationary I thought hehe. Hope you are ready for the most epic fights and heartbreaks going forward. Girls, this is where it gets goooooooood!

What they are watching is the OG music. I agree that the Faulconer score is better, i'm just saying that what they are watching is in fact what came first and I know thats how they usually prefer to experience things.

remember when i told yall they cut out the old music and re dubed it thats why the episode is so silent and its gonna be like that for the rest of the series. you gals are missing the epic piccolo,vegeta,goku music especially when yall get to episodes in the 80's-90 lol you guys know what im talking about hehheeh its not gonna hit the same with this music for that one episode i wish yall watch somewhere else its gonna be epic
