I'm glad you are starting to put some pieces together. Like I said earlier, this manga does reference things from the now much later. You can think that the first 14 acts are building the foundation, these acts are where everything starts picking up, you start getting more characters involved and a lot more back story. I'm glad your enjoying it so much.
