Those DBZ Movies bought back memories but I only got the Ocean Dub with the Cha La Head Cha La! Totally got my pumped! Also nobody knows why Turles looks like Goku so sorry you cannot find the answer lol

So Yes, you have another Saiyan looking like Goku. Back in the day, they tried to make it that lower class saiyans all looked similar, while only high class or elites had their own looks. This is not canon so thats why you see all these different looking saiyans later.

Oh man, I love the OG opening. Cha-la Head-cha-la is the quintessential DBZ opening!!! The victory in this movie is one of the weaker ones in my opinion. The villain had been kicking Goku's butt the entire time until the end when he just walks up and basically says "I WIN BECAUSE!!!" This movie is also the source of one of my favorite memes from the DBZ community. A really really bad foreign English dub of the DBZ films called the "Big Green Dub" by the fans has a line of dialogue when Piccolo shows up to save Gohan. Upon his arrival he declares, "Let that child alone." To which Gohan shrieks (like an actual monkey child) "AAAAAH!! BIG GREEN!" Big Green being the name they give Piccolo in the films. The character names as always follow the food pun naming convention. Rasin and Lakasai are Raisin and a pun for japanese word for Peanut Amond is Almond Daiz is a pun based on the japanese word for Soy. Cacao is Cocoa Turles is a japanese pun for Lettuce, once again following the Saiyan naming convention of Vegetable names. Lord Slug is next!! It's one of my favorite of the DBZ films. Also as some have said, Cooler's Revenge is not on Funimation's site but, it can be found on Apple Tv. Same with Bardock - Father of Goku.

The intro was unique for this movie so there is that. Also you got the Japanese op theme too. In terms of placement this looks like it would take place when the gang when to Namak lol except Yamaha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Piccolo are all alive along with Goku. One more movie and y'all are caught up till the movies. The fifth movie is a bit difficult. That movie is not on Funimation so you have to find another way to watch it

The reason for Turles looking like Goku: The meta reason is bc they wanted an evil Goku so you could see an alternate version of Goku if he didn’t lose his memory. The non-meta reason is because most low class warriors tend to have similar features to each other (I think the dub you watched briefly mentioned it)
