Each new master on the Gekiranger's side are named after Martial Arts stars, with Master Elehung Kam Po being named after Sammo Hung(Apparently Japan either writes or says his name as: "Samo Han Kinpo", so Elehung's full name being what it is kind of makes sense there.). I'm currently trying to see if Shafu is named after anyone, though I'll say this... It'll be easier to figure out who the next two masters are named after. ...That and master #3 is my personal favorite of the bunch. Though if I were to pick a favorite out of the trio of evil masters, it'd have to be Kata. Out of the three, I just feel like his design fits the bill of 'old master' the most. Also fun fact: Elehung's voice actor actually played Sammo Hung in the Japanese dubs of his movies.
