Oh! You guys wanted to know the etymology of Videl's name? Easy. It's an anagram of "devil." Same letters, like Satan and Santa. Fits the whole "Mister Satan" motif. D-E-V-I-L V-I-D-E-L

2022-10-18 02:36:15 +0000 UTCAgreed! At this point, I'd love to see DBZ Abridged before moving on to other official Dragonball series once DBZ proper is done. It's only 60 episodes long, with a decent few of those being pretty short (think RWBY season 1 and 2 length for many early episodes in Abridged), so it would be very doable to get through it quickly. It's so worth it too! It goes from a funny but somewhat dated parody in the beginning to some seriously awesome character-based comedy and drama as TFS really starts to find and nail their storytelling voice. I'd say Abridged doesn't really spoil much of anything for DB Super either from what I can recall having watched the whole of Abridged many times.
