I'm glad you guys enjoyed the recap episode so much! It's great getting to see a more light-hearted and fun side of Meteora too, since she can definitely come off a bit dry and emotionless sometimes (especially when she's the one doing a lot of the info dumping in the show). As for the latter episode, I'm pretty conflicted on the whole imposter syndrome situation. There's definitely something to be said for being thankful for what you have and realizing it's okay to still have room to improve of course, but I think imposter syndrome is something that can affect you no matter how successful or talented you are too. As someone who has dealt with a lot self-esteem issues personally, those kinds of feelings aren't always logical and can be really tough to overcome, even if from the outside things the self-doubt can seem totally unwarranted at times. I don't think you guys are all wrong in what you're saying necessarily, but I do sympathize with her character in that situation I guess. 😅 That said, I may have missed some of the nuances in the post-episode discussion, so forgive me if I'm retreading over things you guys already discussed. 😉 I followed along as best as I could with the echo. I caught most of it, but there were parts here and there that were a bit harder to follow. Thanks for getting the episodes up despite the technical issues. I still enjoyed them quite a bit, even with the echo. 😊
