345/346: Yeah, there's the reason the "Tobi is a good boy" thing has double meaning beyond just "Tobi" being a facade. That whole sequence is what I wanted Shippuden to be from start to finish...the animation, choreography, voice acting, and sound design all elevating a powerful character moment. The theme from the very first arc in the Land of Waves about the trauma and conflict surrounding shinobi being "tools" used by others to cause suffering, manipulated and hurt people who manipulate and hurt people, is still going strong hundreds of chapters/episodes later. Also, Yahiko's got the naming creativity of a rock lol, literally picked the first thing he saw.

2022-11-14 13:21:45 +0000 UTC343/344: "If Madara groomed Obito"...yeah, about that. Kakashi and Rin both thought Obito was absolutely dying even before the collapse, so going deep back into enemy territory for his (presumed)crushed corpse is...unwise. Madara says even he isn't sure how Obito survived. I've heard there is a Naruto edit a fan put together to get his GF to watch when she refused for the length(and fillers) that is about half the time, but I've never seen it anywhere. Unfortunately, I cannot say the flashback/repeats won't come up again, but it tends to be concentrated into a couple of episodes in a row and then barely any for a whole arc going forward, so there's that.
