*** Just to clarify our points on Krillin there is a huge difference between how Goku addressed the deaths of "Gohan" and Vegeta as he used tough love. Krillin (and yes we adore him) has had a constant pattern of negative reinforcement. This includes self deprecating himself and easily giving up on faith/hope. To us Krillin represents how humanity wants to have faith in others or a higher power but at times gets darkened by their own thoughts on an earthly plane of existence. Goku (represents justice, hope and light) and Piccolo (represents enlightenment) which is why Krillin (humanity) has a struggle to attain the belief. And just like in real life it's up to humanity to hold onto faith and persevere in order to attain a greater form of oneself.
