You don't know how happy it makes me that you love Knockout! Also in terms of how lore and backstories go it depends on the Universe/Continuity that the show/other media takes place in. In other words think of the Aligned Continuity as it's own Universe within a Multiverse of different adaptions to chose from.
2023-01-21 17:41:11 +0000 UTCMegatron, in most series, is basically always the villain. Sometimes someone like Starscream becomes leader for a bit, like the beginning of this series, and sometimes there's just some bigger threat, but overall Megatron is the big bad most of the time. Unicron has been mentioned a few times, or more precisely his blood, and while I don't think he has too big of an importance this season (Unless I forgot something), that is a really important character for the overall lore. Transformers Prime while being a good show, there's also certain moments that seem more like they're happening because they need to happen to service the plot instead of because it makes sense. It isn't enough to take away from the show as a whole, but it does happen.
