The Blind Date Game Beta 0.3 (New Look & Modding Overhaul)

If this is your first time hearing about The Blind Date Game, here's a basic rundown:

The Blind Date Game is a simple adult game about going on dates with randomly generated girls. In the final game, you'll generate or load a cute girl and go on a series of dates with her with the endgame being a lovemaking scene.

This is a pretty big update. After the last update, I decided that the game needed a full visual overhaul including a new UI and character models. I also overhauled the modding system due to some new tricks I've learned. 

This update is part 1 of a 2 part update, which I hope to finish within the next couple months. The second part will be focused on making your date move around more as well as creating full 3D environments. 2D environments will be available as mods still, which should lead to some cool unique dating spots.

Changelog:

WARNING: This update will break your saved characters. If you wish to use old saved characters, please use the save editor and character creator to repair your girl. 

Major updates:

• Reworked base character and related assets

The old character model and related assets have been scrapped in favor of new models to allow for a faster workflow using VRoid and Blender. This should also greatly improve modding accessibility.

• Modding has been reworked

Mods should be easier than ever to create. If you're interested, please check out the new modding docs (it's a site now!) . Also, don't forget to share your finished mods in the Discord.

New features:

• Characters now have more expressive face rigs.
• Characters should now emote during dialogue.
• Redesigned Menus
• Added "Kemonomimi" species
• Lipsync added
• Girls now make eye contact.
• New Timer UI & sounds
• Added "Plugin" support

Changes:

• Dialogue now has sound effects
• Adjusted shaders to work with new characters.
• Furry ears now jiggle.
• Characters can now have additional character properties.
• Characters can now have fangs and shark teeth.
• Furry and Kemonomimi girls now have fangs!
• "Furry" ears have been replaced by cat and bunny ears.
• Added Teeth and Ears to the character creator.
• Reworked mod asset loading to load from .JSON files.
• Replaced animations due to the new base character model.
• You can now disable mods in the "options" menu.
• Loading a broken save file should produce an error message instead of crashing.

Fixes: 

• Faces don't get stuck after loading girls anymore.

Known issues:

• Sometimes when loading a new scene, cat ears and bunny ears will spawn away from the head and zip into place. (this should be fixed, but let me know if you encounter it.)
• When randomizing, the "Choose a Date" UI will change size.
