The Blind Date Game Beta 0.5 (Sex System)

If this is your first time hearing about The Blind Date Game, here's a basic rundown:

The Blind Date Game is a simple adult game about going on dates with randomly generated girls. In the final game, you'll generate or load a cute girl and go on a series of dates with her with the endgame being a lovemaking scene.

This beta is the long promised sex system for The Blind Date Game! It took a long time to get to this point with the project, but I'm really proud of what I've managed to put together for my first 3D project, especially now that I have a better understanding of how Godot works.

To be honest, I didn't have a plan for the sex system until I was a good ways into making this project, but, with the help of a few clever folks from the Discord, I feel like the resulting system is fairly competent! There's a lot under the hood making this system work, but I should at least take a moment to explain how it works.

• With Beta 0.5, you'll need to complete 3 dates in order to start a sex scene with a girl.
  (in the future, I plan to add a gallery to load up sex scenes whenever you feel like it)
• After your 3rd date, you can take the girl home, where she'll present you with 2 positions to choose from. (There are currently only 3 positions in the game: Cowgirl, Doggy style, and Missionary)
• The sex scene can be played with either a controller, keyboard, or mouse, but was designed for one-handed play using a mouse.
• Simply hold and release repeatedly to get the girl moving. 
• When she's at a comfortable speed, you can press middle mouse/mouse wheel (or up on keyboard/controller) to lock in the speed.
• Opening the menu (right click or cancel) also locks the speed and opens a radial menu with various options. 

- "Look At" controls what the auto camera can pan to.
- "Kiss" lets you kiss the girl. Some girls like this more than others.
- "X-ray" controls the internal cutout. It's set to "Creampie Only" by default, but can also be set to always on or disabled entirely.
- """"Come"""" lets you choose where to release.
- "Comment" and "Question" allow you to speak with the girl. Each girl has a set of preferences for sex scenes, so be sure to communicate with her to please her needs!

• After you climax, you'll be presented with a good or bad afterglow depending on if the girl was satisfied or not. You'll then be brought back to the character creator, to modify or save your date.

Major updates:

• Added sex!

At the end of a series of 3 dates, you should now be presented with the new sex scene system. This system operates in four phases: foreplay - where you can select position, the main sex scene, climax (inside, facial, or on her chest), and the afterglow/results screen. The entire sequence should be playable with one hand.

Changes:

• Dates should never have the same event play twice in a row now. This should hopefully lead to more natural and varied dates instead of having "compliment her" play 6 times per date.
• Dates now start with a date number to help players keep track of their progress.
• Spawnable mouse (keyboard/controller support) should move at the same speed for everyone now and be more accurate.
• Added the spawnable mouse to the main menu to extend the limited controller support. It's not an ideal solution, but I've always approached this game with the expectation that players would use a mouse.
• The intensity meter should now move at a more regular speed regardless of FPS.
• The log used for detecting mod errors is now always available for notifications. I've added notifications for saving characters, various settings, and loading plugins.
• Debug info is now always on top layer.
• Added text feedback for perfect dates.
• Plugins are now properly instanced when loading mods through the settings menu. 
• Plugins now do not despawn unless you disable mods or re-enable mods. 

Previously, plugins were parented to the generator variables. Now, they have their own parking space under the Global variables. 

• The character creator preview should no longer get stuck mid-blink. 
• A cock color option has been added to the settings. The provided color will be used for the player character during the sex scenes.
• I've made a small change to the headtracking code so that the girl can look at you even when rotated. 
• Dialog can now be continued without clicking directly on the text box.
• Girls now react when you fail a date event.

This is somewhat buggy at the moment, so it won't always trigger. I'll see if I can implement a fix with the next update.

Known issues:

Please reach out to me if you run into any bugs! 

• On certain versions of windows, the insides of the girl's mouth will explode outwards and get stuck that way. If you run into this, try updating your PC and let me know if it fixes it.

This is also the first version to support Mac and Linux! I don't have systems to test the builds on, but I don't expect there to be any issues. If you run into any trouble please message me!
