Emerald is one of my favorites from RWBY. I wasn't exactly sure what would be fun to draw with her at first. She's definitely capable of being flirty and would work well with a pinup, but I wanted to do something that would work well with her special ability. I ended up drawing Emerald naked in the front of the school classroom. The idea of her being a closeted exhibitionist seems like fun.
I ended up going for a complicated perspective with this shot. It took some effort, but I think I ended up drawing Emerald pretty well. The environment was originally going to be simpler, but I started adding textures and decided to polish it up a bit. The end effect is pretty nice, though I think a lower angle might have allowed me to add some student silhouettes which would have helped sell the "in front of the class" idea better.
