Epub version of the chapter is attached below, as always!
Screaming! Screaming and shouting and throwing things about! Um, here we are, at the (potentially???) penultimate chapter of arc 24?! I'm honestly not sure at this point. My outline shows only one more chapter, chapter 37, but we all know that the characters themselves rarely obey my outlines. In any case, we're almost there; Heather is almost there, at the end of the dream, the end of the arc, the end of ... well, we'll see! Ahem. I hope you enjoy this one, dear readers. It's been a long time in the making.
As for the regular break, as indicated on the table of contents page, I am probably going to go ahead with it next week, as the next part needs to brew properly. I would love for the end of the arc to line up precisely with a break week, but, well, better to do things properly than rush anything!
And! I have more fanart from the discord! This week I wish to share with you one of the most delightful pictures anybody has ever drawn for Katalepsis. Eileen, carrying Heather, the way she always should have done, by the absolutely brilliant Cera. Thank you so much! This one really made me smile.

Tenny is very large right now, after all! If anything can fight Heather's guilt one-on-one, large Tenny might be able to ...

2024-11-17 18:45:58 +0000 UTCI now have the mental image of Tenns just reaching in and bonking the guilt away, proving that cute fuzzy beings can cure mental illness.

2024-11-16 21:23:24 +0000 UTCHaha, thank you! I doubt there's going to be two or three additional chapters of dialogue. After all, a giant monster just broke loose, that usually precludes lots of talking! But I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow went to chapter 38, one way or another.

2024-11-16 18:10:13 +0000 UTCPerhaps I am already so!

2024-11-16 18:08:46 +0000 UTCI choose the tentacle godling ending, please!

2024-11-16 18:08:27 +0000 UTCAn author is an author, even in a dream. But, alas, not too fast! The nightmare swirls and churns unending! Ahahahah!!! Ahem. Yes. Arc 24 does indeed seem to go on forever, consuming more and more, leading down and down and down. Heather must finally break free!
Hazel Young
2024-11-16 18:08:08 +0000 UTCThe end is imminent, one way or another, but if it took two or three weeks of dialogue I would probably survive

2024-11-16 09:25:12 +0000 UTCI’m not caught up but i feel compelled to respond to this with bloodborne lol. Will Hungry be set free from the dream, choose to remain in the dream, or. Uh. Become a tentacle godling?

2024-11-16 05:32:51 +0000 UTCHahahaha, you actually think this arc will end? Yes, keep deluding yourself into believing this, my dear author. Keep dreaming that an end is in sight and that the madness will one day come to a stop. That the turbulent currents of your own mind will actually ALLOW you to end the dream! Yes... Keep telling yourself this...
