Added 2025-06-17 07:37:09 +0000 UTCThese shots are some of my favorites from a recent shoot with Erek. I made the drive out to Snoqualmie, and it was well worth it. The area was private, quiet, and calm. The forest had golden light peeking through and in the photos, you can see just how small I look in contrast to the towering trees and vast landscape. There was something really majestic about that.
The shoot itself was super chill. no pressure, no weird vibes. Just a natural connection, good conversation, and a shared love for creating meaningful images. We didn’t overthink the process. We talked about photography, passion, even a little politics (which I don’t usually dive into), but it was refreshing to be on the same wavelength.
I kept the posing simple but intentional, playing with some new shapes while staying grounded in the scene. It was our first time working together, but we instantly vibed. Sometimes, the best shoots are the ones that just flow.
I mentioned he didn’t have to send me the RAW files because that’s too much work, but he was kind enough to send me the large file originals with the edits.
