2023-01-22 14:51:58 +0000 UTCIf you're like me and a lot of people, you'll catch on some japanese phrases they repeat and even know when the subtitles are wrong. One of the important and repeated phrases they say is something like "Tatakeyo", which can be translated into something different depending on the situation but overall I think it just means "fight"

It's based on the game Cyberpunk. It's not your typical anime. I get the feeling that you'll like it. Also, the dub for it has great voice acting and is better to watch unless you speak Japanese.

I think it’s also cause it hit mainstream viewership when Netflix made a live action reboot of it. It’s personally not anywhere near my favorite but it’s a classic

I felt like I was getting whiplash every arc with how good it was and all the theories I had getting either destroyed or confirmed. I have watched very little anime for most of the same reasons y’all have. I’ve had people recommend both Death Note and Vinland Saga to me, so those would be good choices for what comes after AOT I’m sure. Y’all could also watch Arcane on Netflix for a short series since it is only 9 episodes (not anime but animated and S-tier). Your reactions would be great.

2023-01-17 13:32:00 +0000 UTCperhaps im a little biased but the way ive always thought of it is just that as long as ur issue isnt just animated shows/movies in general then theres always gonna be something in it for everyone - while its true there r def some common tropes and such in a lot of them the frequency and stuff still varies a lot depending on what ur goin for. at the end of the day animes just japanese animations, with as many genres and subcategories as any other media, if not more 🤧🤧 anyhow so excited for the next upload! always happy to see another~ 🤩

If you want mystery/psychological thriller go for Death Note. If you want full-packed action/ninja go for Naruto. And if you want adventure/fantasy/pirate go for One Piece. Each one is the best for its genre.
