There are a lot of details you just miss in a first run, even second or third.. I never noticed how when the Female titan was cornered against the tree there was steam coming out only from one eye

When they said they'd lost the 20th episode I was so devastated because I thought it was this one when we lost Levi's squad.. I'm so sorry they lost 20 and the finale, but at least it wasn't this one.

I had that same doubt, sometimes I wish they'd hit pause to get out whatever they have on their minds, I know it's kind of anticlimactic but maybe they could do it during the half-show pause, and also read out loud the extra info they put in

I think there were some more transformations during Hange's "experiments" and I'm not only referring to the teaspoon incident, but still there was a reason not to have him transform which was that excellent trap they had prepared for the Female Titan

There are so many emotions in this episode. The heart wrenching loss of Levi's squad. I was devastated by their deaths. Then the anger and regret Eren must be feeling know he could've changed the outcome. He felt responsible for all their dead comrades. It looked like Eren had the upper hand against the Female titan only to get beheaded and captured.

Eren is quite an emotional driven dude. He is not experienced enough to make quick decisions to change tactics to kill Annie at that moment. He is still so young. Even though, I too feel frustrated, I can see why he is not winning Annie in this fight and I think those pause made complete sense.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best episodes so far. It was so intense reliving the emotions of watching Levi's squad get decimated, witnessing Eren's regret/guilt, and his subsequent rage. My favourite scenes are when you witness the pure, unbridled wrath that emanates from Eren as a titan. In later episodes/seasons, when you learn more about Eren, you'll look back at these scenes and be amazed by how much Eren glows with and represents certain traits/emotions. You're reactions, as always, are top notch. I can see on everyone's faces just how intense it feels to experience this for the first time, or the second. It only goes up from here, so prepare for a ride.

Remember, the last time Eren transformed into his full Titan form he lost control and tried to kill Mikasa. That's another one of the reasons it was so iffy for Eren to transform. Nobody was sure whether or not he'd be able to control it. If they all knew for sure that he would be able to control it I'm sure they would of allowed it.

Yep, they were worried about Eren potentially losing control, or not being strong enough. Also, think about the unfortunate message this sends to Eren. He tried trusting in others and it led to the deaths of many. How will that affect him going forward, who knows?

I think that’s just the way the video looks after they exported it. They’re probably watching the crunchy roll, which is fine though it isn’t blue-ray. The blue-ray is better but it’s a little expensive, also I’ve heard the BR subs are worse, so either option is good.

After watching this so many times i realized that they all want Eren to trust them and their capabilities but they themselves did not trust Eren and his power, they could totally defeat female titan in this episode

I'm going to wait a bit in hopes episode 20 is restored. If possible, could you give an update on any progress in getting the files back? If not it's all good, this stuff happens. Maybe a video going over some of your theories, opinions and feelings on the core moments of the missing episodes would be good to have as a replacement if restoring is an impossibility.
