What I love towards the end is when Annie is revealed and she's crying, it immediately elicits sympathy out of me. We don't know why she's doing what she is, but her being in that emotional state and those flashbacks tells us just enough that there's likely some serious shit she is going through.

I would say the original reaction audio was definetly the better option, even though the video isn't there, to hear the actual reactions at the time is still just as good, for the finale especially haha

I noticed that too. The audio is a bit behind the audio. For example, there's a delayed reaction when Mikasa cuts off the female titan's fingers and says "Fall".

Really like the original audio and think it works. For the edited YouTube video it may be a good idea to add an indication on who's speaking in the commentary (as it obviously doesn't sync up with the video), maybe by putting some kind of speech icon above people's heads when they talk just to make it easier for YouTube audiences to understand

I second this. It can be confusing to listen to the original audio but watch the reactors do something completely different or not react at all. I opened up AoT on Crunchyroll, sync'd it up, muted the episode, and just watched it while listening to the original audio. This worked pretty well for me. Given the video issues, the original audio more than makes up for it. For me, I can tell who was talking, but some people might have difficulty with that. You might want to add your own subtitles in the video with who's talking, or do something like discord and have the person's face/profile appear/flash as if the person's talking. Just some way to help people distinguish who's talking. (might be too much work). Looking forward to the hour+ long review/discussion and OVAs.

It's a lot more work, but maybe upload the complete re-watch (audio and video together) as well as this one (re-watch video with first watch audio). I'm personally still interested on hearing your reactions from the rewatch, and personally more content is never a bad thing :P

For me, 1st watch audio on top of the 2nd watch footage feels kinda confusing for my brain. I'd recommend you do it like a commentary (black screen background + the anime episode footage + the original audio) It would also be nice if you indicate who's talking cause sometimes your voices overlap and for us it would be hard to recognise who's speaking. However, I understand this might be so much effort so I'm actually fine with just the 2nd watch reaction in its usual format or just like this ^^ Thanks for the hard work anyways

I definitely wouldn’t mind just the audio and the episode itself, I personally just listened to you guys talking while watching aot itself but there were a few moments when in the audio you guys had big reactions but your video just showed you guys sitting there or talking to each other. That threw me off a few times because of the “just seeing one thing vs hearing another thing ordeal” if you get what I mean. Idk, I’m weird lol But anyways awesome episode guys!🔥🔥🔥

Audio is really all I need to enjoy this. Yeah the body language is cool but still hearing your initial thoughts is cool enough. For YouTube I’d just throw some text anytime you’re using audio only, or you’ll get comments about it

Ok here’s an idea. What if you upload this reaction almost like a commentary? Have the episode playing (of course for YouTube you’d have to edit it to avoid copyright problems) but have your audio playing over the episode. Basically making it a commentary.
