it wasnt even that important storywise, the stuff that the OVA hinted at already got revealed in later seasons.

2023-10-09 01:32:35 +0000 UTCi think s2 actually did very well with the plot but i can see what you mean by this comment. sometimes i wonder if season 2 is my 3rd fav season or 4th. it flips between 3rd and 4th and its contender being season 1.

2023-02-01 06:38:16 +0000 UTCI think Season 2 is the weakest season of the show. I really like Historia and Sasha moments. It has some weird and awkward moments. I think the plot and pacing aren’t that good. overall, I think it’s overrated.

I do remember after a certain amazing episode, the rest didn’t quite match that episode (maybe it’s the same episode you mentioned but I don’t quite remember). Otherwise I still thought it was pretty good. Interested to see how the story progresses

It’s a great indication that although the audience goes from knowing nothing about Titan to knowing quite a bit by end of S1, there’s still SO MUCH the audience (and characters) do NOT know about this world. They give you a little spoonful here and there.. then just slap you across the face with something that makes you go “wait, WHAT!?” They give you a false sense of security that you’re starting to understand this world, then they just pull that rug out from under you. SUCH GOOD WRITING.

Always giving us more questions than answers. I gotta watch that re-release End game post credit scene because when I heard that they added a scene with a non-finished CGI Hulk, I brushed it off as they didn't actually do that, did they..

I guess that some of the political stuff felt a bit slow, the amazing episode 3 was the highlight for me, and for me it never reached that level again. I would say the only weakness for me is the political stuff. Fave characters were Viktor, Silco, Vi and Jinx. Wasnt the biggest fan of some of the council characters. I also sometimes found it hard to know the layout of the world

2023-01-27 08:53:39 +0000 UTCI watched arcane around the time it came out and I'd give it a 9.5/10 (same with AoT s1). The show is stunning but it's currently just one season. Knowing everything that happens in AOT I can't happily say that the two shows (in their entirety) are on the same level.
