FINAL 5 POLL!

Happy Thursday everyone!! Hope you all are doing great!!

After 10 days of the first poll being up, the votes are in and we have our results!!

Originally it was going to be the top 4, but we had a tie for the final spot, so we are doing both in here. The winner of this will be our next show!! We are BEYOND excited!!

KEEP IN MIND: We plan on adding more shows in the future and it is not set that this will be our ONLY show, it is just a guarantee that it will follow up Attack on Titan. We still want to watch a bunch of shows like how we normally would!

We really hope the next Anime can continue the trajectory that Attack on Titan has set for our views on anime!!

Comments

Gotta be Death Note or FMA. Both GOATed shows.

FMA is heat tho

"Jujutsu Kaisen literally has a talking sentient panda bear randomly as one of the cast, they will hate it lmao" - an earlier post

Alex Bergeron

Since you guys are into basketball, I suggest Slam Dunk. The animation is really old though but if you can get past that, it's an amazing story and lots of exciting moments.

Darren Pangan

you guys needa watch jujutsu kaisen some time before june when season 2 comes out, that stuffs hype

ChrisBrah-4

Y'all need to make an executive decision and avoid like most of the Shonen (and death note even though it's seinen) for now. Like fr you're going to convince them that there aren't any other good anime at this rate. The only Shonen thats a good idea rn is FMA:B. Stick with seinen like Monster and Vinland saga.

Phil Kessel

My tops on this list are Vinland and FMAB. I think itโ€™s pick or choose which of those two is the better show after AOT but they each have different themes and concepts that are very well executed without feeling as though itโ€™s dragging. Iโ€™d say Death Note and JJK are next up in that order with JJK being the small leap into more traditional anime with sick fights, cool powers and characters while having a strong story. If they end up loving something like JJK then I can definitely see them messing w/ Demon Slayer so long they donโ€™t overthink the story. I see why it made it this far on the list, the newest seasons drops in a few weeks and most people prob wanna see them react to it as it comes out but I think the season after would be better.(*smiles in manga*) in terms of story beats that is.

Nicolas Martinez

Wholeheartedly agree. A little appalled that it's somehow WAY up there, considering that is the kind of anime that Cannon and Carter would hate watching. JJK, while it's not as bad, is still a very typical shounen. Aside from the rest listed on the poll, there's more anime that have better focus on story and characters. Stuff like Monster, Cowboy Bebop, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass, and Samurai Champloo, to name a few.

I'm not going to lie, the most recent MHA episode has been great and season 6 in total has been absolute ๐Ÿ”ฅ. I think they would really like it, it is one of my top anime for sure.

Dio

please not demon slayer that show's story so blatantly mid

HxH has a got-tier story, its incredible

Trznk

HxH is deffo one they should watch

mr. fireboy

!!!! second this

haley!

Yea defs would probably be best to have it as a later option since its long too. Naruto would be cool too. I personally dont mind tropes in one piece cause they are so well done and are not as typical as I would expect, I sort of forget about them as the lore and world-building picks up.

Trznk

I def agree with you, in the future tho once they watch a couple more of the shorter shows and get used to anime cuz one piece has a lot of anime tropes. But once you get used to those tropes u can still appreciate its world and writing which is so good. So it could be perfect for them to watch at a steady pace. Lol It really is intimidating but hopefully they would just watch to enjoy and not worry bout catching up. Tho I have feeling that they would try Naruto first cuz I hear brig reference it a lot but who knows

Nonos

Probably not unless the hype train hits them, I just wanted to suggest it. Plus it will get them heaps of views since fandom is huge. They probably wont even see my comment anyways.

Trznk

they aint watching a 1k episode show dawg ๐Ÿ’€

Nextrackter

Would definitely take time but I have watched reaction channels pull it off and enjoy it while watching multiple shows as well- they also tend to condense each session to multiple episodes at once or watch the manga-cut version (one pace) where they remove all the non-canon drag that has been added to the anime including fillers. I just think for such an incredible story it is worth it. Also 2025 is not so far away ahah.

Trznk

nah cause imagine uploading all those episodes,by the time they upload everything it will be 2025 lol

Paul Geric

yea they probably will ahaha especially if they see the episode count ahaha. But I would love to find out what they would say after a few arcs and lots of tears. The contrast of their before and after reaction would make for a very satisfying reaction i think.

Trznk

they will call you crazy. Nakama

Zechree

Monster and Hunter x Hunter are also very good choices

Trznk

A series to consider for the future (it would be great to see anime haters start a series hating it and then falling in love with it and I think I know the perfect series for that)- If you love mind-blowing foreshadowings, world-building, lore and a complex plot you should try to watch One Piece! - you will hate it at first but I guarantee u will end up balling your eyes unlike any other series you've watched. It is however, very long and packed with so much detail so it can be intimidating but the story is insanely well written with plot threads that weave together in such complex and compelling ways.

Trznk

I'd be cool with #1, 2, and 5, but I've tried to watch the other two and there was never a single time in either where I was like "Man I need to know what happens next," and hurried to the next episode, but AOT does that pretty much every episode and FMA does that more often than not, Death Note not as much but there are still tons of epic moments and it's OG for sure.

McLovin

it kinda feel like it would be best to pick one thats finished no? anime production time lines are brutally long at times and it could be years to get some finished.

Death Note is such a smart anime. A lot of psychological mind games. You will love it. Hope it will be your next one.
