2024-06-24 03:00:43 +0000 UTCI think his personality makes perfect sense, considering what traumatic things he experienced as a fresh scout on his first ever mission, and on top of that Levi and the others betraying him, in a sense, to save Armin instead of Erwin. I think there have been a lot of hints in his scenes to show that he has been sent to the edge by war, but I wish still that there would have been more of his character development shown. I still don't like him though, lol

He would be more likeable if he was more level-headed, but he's borderline sociopathic with how he relishes this violence to do whatever it takes to support Eren. I hate ideals like this, where people feel like they can throw away all critical thinking for their baser instincts.

The anti-Marley volunteers are from nations that have been taken over by Marley. At 19:25, Niccolo implies that Marleyans are familiar with the use of Zeke’s spinal fluid as a bioweapon. I think the world has always been at war, but it was a more one-sided domination by whoever possessed the power of the Titans (so Marley for the past 100 years). Now that the Marley has lost some of that power, other countries have started to become more aggressive.

2023-03-12 01:17:15 +0000 UTCI don't think we've been given enough proof that Floch cares for anyone other than himself, so I wish they would have given him some development during the flashbacks of season 4. Obviously he's changed after being the sole survivor of the suicide charge, from a coward to a brave soldier. But such a radical change in character needs to be developed better, it doesn't seem believable to me. My biggest problem with his character however is that he seems to relish in the power he's been given and even gets a kick out of killing, whether it's people from the mainland or other Eldians. I'm all for a ruthless Floch that does whatever he can to protect Paradis, but he comes off as a psychopath at times.

In the maps repeatedly shown in the anime we can easily see the Middle East and also Asia. I think it's safe to assume that the rest of the world is there, just mirrored and upside down.

I don’t fully remember s4 very well bc I haven’t rewatched it since it was originally released, so rewatching it now I’m like Brigg I don’t remember hardly any of the little detail or mid season stuff like the chair bomb!

If you recall from the last episode, Pyxis makes the remark that the best way to tell a lie is to sprinkle some truth into it and that's exactly what Zeke did. I could not root for Floch and the Jaegerists even though they're supporting Eren and his cause. We just didn't know what was going on through Eren's head. For most of the story, we experience the story unfold where Eren is the protagonist, but now we, as are the scouts, are left in the dark as to what Eren is going through and what his real motivations are.
