Justify what? Whatever you believe about good or right, if Eren doesn't do this then the only alternative for them is their own destruction to satisfy the world. Not a matter of what you believe is good, but what other solution is there? Ideals are cheap when you're faced with imminent death.

I've been trying to watch this episode for the last 4 hours, but it just keeps pausing/buffering--yes, I've refreshed the page, checked my internet connection, tried to watch on other devices, connected straight to the ethernet, nothing is making my viewing experience any better. If anyone has any suggestions that I haven't tried, I'd love to hear them.

The sad truth is that his survivor's guilt multiplied with his lack of confidence and completely destroyed his ability to use his intelligence to the same effect as his did before Erwin died. That's at least how I look at it.

If Erwin was saved instead of Armin the situation would be completely different. Maybe better maybe worse, but he would have the biggest target on him. They would go after him first cause they’d know they wouldn’t get any where with him in the picture. There’d be as many assassination attempts as they’d need to take him out. It would just be a completely different situation. They’re not as concerned with Armin

Along with warrior training since young it makes mastering colossal titan's abilities easier for Bert than Armin. It's also like how some people are exceptional in something while others are not, everyone doesn't have the same degree of talents/skills.

2023-03-27 18:19:10 +0000 UTCThe hate for Armin makes me sad here though. I think he and Floch each show two different sides of Erwin. Armin embodies the side of him that wanted to pursue the truth, and Floch embodies the part of him that would stop at nothing--even crossing moral lines sometimes--to get it. They are both his successors in their own ways, to the different sides of his personality. If you hate Floch, you still have to admit that Floch is the person he is because he saw Erwin's more brutal side (his "devil" side) and ran with that as his example of how to be a leader.

That doesn't mean armin can, Bertholt was specifically and rigorously trained to inherit the colossal titan, armin certainly wasn't. And apparently bertholt had a special talent for the colossal too, probably why he was chosen at such a young age

Despite his best efforts, his communication skills and desire to "talk it out" have ultimately been unable to stop the cycle of violence. Isayama is really the GOAT.
