Greenland was already mentioned earlier, if I remember correctly Leif is from there. It's definitely not a warm, fertile land:DD

Also, kills me that Jack asked about where vinland even is after the episode cuz i explained all that in my comment on the first episode and someone said "pretty sure they never said vinland is eastern canada" *facepalmed* it translates roughly to "the land of wild grapes" because the soil had never been cultivated and was so fertile. Also#2, guy that was on the bridge at the end was Thorkell the Tall who was fighting alongside Thors the Troll of Jom at the very start of the show. If you look back at that scene it shows that he is a battle hungry viking.

2023-04-18 23:22:36 +0000 UTCFor clarification on the Harald stuff, the guy shown in the first episode with the braided beard was Harald Bluetooth(yes, thats where the word Bluetooth comes from), a real dude who was king of Denmark and Norway before the events in this show. The Harald mentioned here, Canute's brother, is a different Harald. We've had a lot of Harald's in our history lol, Norway's current king is also called Harald. Canute and Sweyn are also based on real people
