Demon Slayer, surprisingly, has very lovable and interesting characters, including some of the demons. Difficult to choose one for me, but I think it will be Tanjorou for his relentless grit and determination in the face of horror and tragedy, without losing his humanity and kindness. It is very easy for the villains and anti-heroes to use some tragic incident in their past to justify going to the dark side. But someone who emerges from such senseless horror (when Muzan killed his family and turned his sister into a demon) with his/her kindness and humanity intact is indeed a rare gem!

2023-05-22 00:33:58 +0000 UTCFrom just this season, Genya and the wind hashira are my favorites. I read the manga in 2020 when it ended and I honestly forgot a lot about this arc lol. So looking at it with newish eyes, this season is okay so far. I’ve been into anime my whole life so I’m used to anime tropes, but ds is the one show where they think their thoughts too much and it bothers me. Like this season has did that way too much that even my dad (I was introduced to anime because of him) has been irritated lmao. He literally yells at the characters to just do it instead of thinking it.
