It's not even up for debate, Thorkell is stronger than Thors if we are accounting through sheer strength matched up, but Thors is the better, more well rounded warrior. Thorkell loses to Thors because Thors is the more technical and nimble fighter who also has a decent amount of raw strength and power. In pure modern terms, it'll be like an NFL quarter-back who's like 280lbs versus a UFC welterweight MMA fighter/ Olympic Judoka/Wrestler/Samboist/Muay Thai/Kudoka. One's a freak athlete who'll literally body any normal dude, the other's a technical fighter who'll demolish the freak athlete through sheer technique, finesse, and some strength.

Yes, it's a masterpiece but also it's not the same. I'd also argue that since the first season only covers the first arc and leaves off on the biggest cliffhanger idk if it's worth it. Berserk really is best experienced as a manga
