I forgot about Psycho-Pass. Another underrated anime series! 💔 I feel like Cannon's sense of justice will be tested watching that. As for Carter and NGE, I think the discussions will be very controversial. See, this is why I want them to react to animes that are not bombarded with mainstream fans, because they will get to experience it without somebody dictating how they should feel about it. It's an added bonus if these animes are not yet experienced by Jack, McKay and Brig. 👍🏼

Yeah he loves this show lmao, especially for the soundtrack. I forgot to mention that the soundtrack has some SUPER GOATED tracks. This show is pretty much getting the Vinland Saga treatment (which gigguk was also gushing over), where it's a super goated show that is getting overlooked cos of the platform it's streamed on. Season 1 of Vinland Saga didn't pick up steam for a long while cos it was trapped on Amazon Prime Video. So man, I'd highly suggest you just decide to react to this in the near future. There's 2 short seasons, and a movie so far.

MADE IN ABYSS, super underrated, amazing animation and captivating world building and story shrouded in mystery. It's not on mainstream streaming platforms so it's not well known but it would easily blow up in popularity if it ended up on Netflix or something. Cowboy Bebop is a great classic anime that's p objectively loved by anime watchers, Chainsaw Man is also great though the anime isn't very far through as of now, with season 2 coming out next year most likely. Hunter X Hunter is great but long, it's got about twice the episodes as AOT. Made In Abyss has some great world building and is one of my favorite animes but it gets REALLY weird in a few scenes so I'd understand not wanting to check it out.

If you want to see some of the anime classics I recommend Ghost in the shell, Akira, Ninja scroll, Princess Mononoke - all actual movies, and not tv shows. Would be nice to see what you guys think of these movies as they are some of the biggest influences of the people that are writing and/or animating the contemporary stuff everyone is enjoying now

I wish we knew what the crew have already seen. I've heard them mention in their discussions that they've already seen a couple of shows like Chainsaw Man. Welp, these three are goated imo Fate Zero (maybe a little too dialogue and lore heavy, but awesome characters and fights) 86 (good balance of drama and action with mechs) Haikyuu (GEK already love sports, so this is a no-brainer)

Hisoka didnt do anything, Lucifer guy just dissapeared, Kiluas sister joined phantom group for a reason a we know nothing, top strongest good people are just bunch of politicians and we know nothing about them - not even Gons father. Kurapikas story got finished off screen. Most interesting thing got introduced on last episode and then nothing. I can go on and on

W/ JJK 2 coming soon and DS done for now I think it’ll be best to try either HxH or something like Chainsaw Man/Hells Paradise. I say HxH more so then CSM or HP cause they prob gonna want to upload JJK2 as it comes out so no need to focus on a new show in the same “trio” when the new season on the one you just finished is around the corner. Also with the end of DS you guys are only on very serious and dark shows with no real light in between them so something like HxH or FMAB that has a more child-like animation with snappy cute jokes but deals with serious and disturbing elements might be the tiny little break in intensity needed when compared to the other shows
