I get that he’s excited but he literally has to comment or co-sign something that’s only a few seconds from being seen by people who have never seen the show and don’t know what to expect and it makes everyone hyper aware and therefore taking away from The experience instead of it just being a natural genuine reaction.

Though what the original comment was about is that he very frequently tells them/comments on stuff that are only a couple seconds away which takes away from the 100% blind reaction (what viewers like) to events/info since they are made aware before it even happens on screen. I don't agree with calling it "spoiling" but its understandable imo it can be annoying for viewers who had been anticipating their reaction for a long time.

He said that while they are anime characters, he feels it was unnecessary to include that shot for fanservice (a real gentleman). The other VAs in that interview agreed but the others joked about Maki's leg being so muscular and strong that she can crush people's head with it.😅😅😅

The events of the manga really pick up starting here! Also you guys pretty much had it right about Yuta, he himself has an almost infinite amount of cursed energy, so rika was only as strong as she is because of how much cursed energy Yuta has. So even though he broke her curse, he is still insanely strong because of the amount of cursed energy he has, but since he didn't have any experience he had to learn to control it through rika. Also I saw the movie in theaters and I can confirm it was epic on the big screen.

Really the only complaint I have is how it kinda felt like it was moving from one moment to the next way too fast in the first half, but the second half absolutely carried, and the animation and cinematography were absolutely top notch for the whole thing. Easily a high 8 or not 9/10

But to answer your question “what people’s ‘problem’ with the movie was?” In the simplest terms, unfortunately the anime community has a lot of fanbase competition and haters which in my opinion is just so ridiculous cause it’s all subjective to each others opinions of what we deem to be “good” tv. Objectively, there’s a few “loose ends” like briggs says but it’s all part of the storytelling. We’ll all learn a bit more in season 2. But yeah, tbh that’s why I don’t go on Twitter or read comments on anime videos because everyone always has something to say. You’ll always find some sort of negativity. As long as you guys enjoyed it, then that’s really your answer. Anyways, can’t wait for next season!! Keep up the good work!! I will be tuning in! P.S. y’all missed the post credit scene 🤧😬

Don't let anyone spoil what happened with Geto! Yes it's confusing at the minute because he's clearly dying at the end here, and then suddenly returns with stitches across his head for season 1, but it should be explained in the second arc of season 2 hopefully since its explained in the Shibuya Arc. I am so excited for season 2 omggggg. Not too fussed about the Hidden Inventory arc although I'm excited for it, but to finally see Shibuya animated is going to be absolutely INSANE.
