the voice recording wasn't of the full conversation, idk why but everyone always gets this wrong, she only recorded the very last part, you even can see her starting the recording in the car. L and them have no idea that she had to prove him anything, and that's the biggest reason L finds this sus, because he knows even a dumb kira wouldn't be trying to prove themselves to someone claiming to be second kira without them also having given some type of proof too. Also he could pick up on her behaviour changing suddenly again

I think L looked suspicious of Misa because in the previous episode, Misa seemed very eager to join L's team (when he told the chief and others to work independently to arrest the 7 Yotsuba members), she also seemed very eager to catch Kira at all costs despite Light's protests of how dangerous it was. Now, after her meeting/interview, when Light tells her that she will not investigate Kira and only work in Yotsuba's commercials as it is dangerous, she meekly agrees with him. Hence, L was wondering what happened to change her stance and agree with Light, a very subtle change...

I will say both movies are great, I enjoy Your Name more personally cause it hits all the right notes for me. I cant ever watch a silent voice again, because when I do it makes me extremely uncomfortable while watching. I would prefer A Silent Voice as it realistic and the story will really break you. Give it a try first. I can almost imagine all of your reactions to certain scenes. Your Name is merely hyped due to its visuals and cinematography. Actually, I usually recommend either A Silent Voice OR Grave of the Fireflies, as they both tackled the errors of humanity of the present and past.

Your name is very, very, very overrated. I remember watching it with my girlfriend after watching with her steins gate and madoka and it was very underwhelming. Maybe that is the reason I never really understood the hype behind it. It really feels like nowadays the shinier the animation the more hype it gets. For sure a silent voice is a much better story
