It's not a spoiler cause you guys just forgot her name, but the girl you didn't recognize is Ieiri Shoko, who in present day is the Dr. who is there when Yuji comes back to life and in the movie is the one leading the treatment of the wounded at the big battle.

Like i said they talk about it at the end of season 1 and that toji saying hes not a zenin and that he took his wifes name all but confirms it. They already knew that it was either his dad or his older brother, but it cant be the latter because they wouldve hinted at it in season 1, also this arc is several years before any events in season 1 so it’s unlikely that its his older brother. So no i dont think its a spoiler

Also I’m not positive but I think the girl u didn’t recognize was the doctor girl from the beginning that was there when yuji “died”. I’m so hype for this new season tho I think this is gonna make whatever comes after the break so much better.

Also the whole look with curse barrier and the manor being reminiscent of part of another anime (unnamed, for spoilers sake) was p funny - I had a feeling someone would mention it haha! And ya, as several people have mentioned already, you have met Shouko before! The doctor who had spoke with Gojo in season 1 around Yuji's death, and one of the doctors you can see running around tending to the wounded during the night parade (in which I think there was also a tinyyy hint about her having some sort of past with Geto too if I remember correctly), but shes just never really at the forefront of things. And idk if I could say I like their squad more then the current day one, but idk if I could say less either! I'm a big fan of the 3 of them as well, and so happy to get to see more of them animated TT <3 Also ik people r/r going to go wild for toji,,which like,, deserved lmao p.s., I'm pretty bad with trying to spell out phonetics, but my attempt for the question regarding the pronunciation of Utahime's name ---> oo-tah-he-meh (and hopefully thats clear and reads how I intended it to lol)

2023-07-07 03:44:18 +0000 UTCAll the scenes where you are getting that cinematic feeling were done by making 3D CGI environments, like those corridors, or when the camera does heavy sudden turns... and those 3D environments then get painted over either by textures or actual people. Best example to see the difference is when the corridors take a sudden different look and they distort, when the "haunted house" ends up destroyed - that scene with the corridor changing shape is actually not CGI and is actually drawn by a human.

Shes the doctor that was about to autopsy itadori before he came back to life. 2. Toji is fushiguros dad. In the mini arc of season 1, fushiguro has a flashback of gojo talking about his dad saying he left the zenin clan to have him. And in this episode, his dad said he isnt a zenin anymore. 3. I just found it interesting how compared to geto in the movie, his ideology is basically reversed and i think itll be interesting to see how and why he shifts to the other side. Hope this helps
