Yeah it goes against the Authorâs message but not many people will understand the message at this point in time. Usually only those that read the manga know that Vinland is supposed to showcase the authorâs beliefs of pacifism.

Vinland Saga does have some good action scenes in it, but that isn't really the point of the show. I've started buying the manga for Vinland Saga and this is the time in my 25 years of watching anime that I bought any manga. Season 2 ended very well, and I can't wait 2-3 years for season 3 to come out (unless MAPPA gets their priorities straight).

2023-07-16 11:12:16 +0000 UTCFun fact and spoilers if u someone who reads comments before hand: I believe I read somewhere that the author of VS actually messed up on the thorgil fight scene by accidentally drawing thorgil using the wrong hand when grabbing the sword. He came out and said it was a genuine mistake but what does mappa do with this info âŠ. They say nah bump it make him ambidextrous and dual-wield them in order to make it flow a lot better.

2023-07-16 09:03:31 +0000 UTCVinland Saga doesn't have as large of an audience, I think, because it's pretty introspective and philosophical and the average anime fan is in it for the fight scenes. Not a bad thing, but the battle shounen animes tend to really hone in on the "hype" moments (which I also really like when it's done well) and that kind of show is definitely more marketable. But what I think makes Vinland shine is the storytelling and the overall journey you go on with the characters. Seeing the evolution of a character is emotional in Vinland Saga. I don't think I've ever wished for a character's happiness more than Thorfinn's. The guy makes a friend and smiles for the first time in 15 years and I'm misty eyed lol. He laughs and I have tears streaming down my face. And even though the fanbase isn't huge, I think it's just as dedicated as the AOT fandom. The fans that love this show; LOVE this show (me lol).

A lot of people were confused with the change of pace but the season made a lot of people follow the show. I think by season 3 weâll see VS as having almost the same amount of followers as AOT, DS, etc. at least thatâs what it seems with the way itâs become so popular. Btw, please listen to next new opening song. I think it starts next episode. Itâs one of my favorite VS openings!
