Kind of not understanding some peoples points here. Liking s1 more than s2 doesnt make them a dumb or mentally immature person. Liking s1 more doesnt make s2 bad at all. Different people have different tastes, doesnt mean they dont understand the themes that the show tries to convey, thats all. I love s2. But s1 is everything to me. And that is my bias. Either way, both seasons are peak.

2023-08-14 00:18:31 +0000 UTCyeah watching your MC get beat up the whole season just for him to realize that all he needs to do to atone for his past murders is to sail halfway across the world and violently takeover some other people's land, and build his utopia where everyone lives happily ever after. Definitely more interesting than watching some boring revenge story with tons of action.

Also, I'm just too dumb to realize that all you need to do to stop violence is to escape halfway across the world to build a utopia where everyone lives happily ever after.

The story feels complete, but it also feels like there’s so much left to tell. Following Thorfinn’s journey and seeing all the people who have influenced his transformation thus far has been emotional. I’m glad I got to experience this all again through your reaction videos.

Anyone who picks S1 over 2, I’m sorry to say this, is honestly not mentally mature enough to understand the depth of this whole arc. This season skyrocketed Vinland as my number 1 anime of all time and I’ve seen A LOT. AOT and VS were kinda battling it out in my mind but it’s just not even close anymore. And the crazy thing is that I’ve heard Manga readers saying there’s so much more in store that is going to blow us away. We haven’t even scratched the surface. I love WIT but MAPPA DID THAT! Ughhhh I can’t wait for S3 which was already announced and will be coming out maybe in the next year or two. It’s been such a ride y’all… thank you for reliving this series with us!! 🥰🫶

Following Thorfinn on his journey of hatred and strife to redemption and rebirth has been amazing. Season 2 is by FAR my favorite of the two, but what i love about this is story, is that even though season 1 was a prologue - it's still so cohesive. I also love how intentional is was that Thorfinn had no personality beyond revenge in the first season. It makes his gradual change and realization at his own emptiness so powerful when the time comes. The addition of Einar was also so important. How Thorfinn stopped Einar from falling into his same path of revenge and how Einar's personality and big heart added so much to Thorfinn. Such a masterpiece. I'm so excited for Season 3 (whenever it comes out). I think once this series is finished it will go down as being one of the greatest of all time. It already is to me.

I like McKay. :) For me, the hardest part to watch was when Helga held Thorfinn's face and recognized her husband in her son's eyes. Made me think of my own life experiences. Life's tough.

I haven't watched a lot of anime so that doesn't say much :D Also, to the scene Jackson was referring to: "ONE PIECE... DOES EXISTS!"

2023-08-12 21:39:58 +0000 UTCIt's the end at last 😢 That scene almost at the end where small Thorffin ask big Thorffin "where does people that want to scape from here go?" is actually something that he asked Thors on that same spot at the end of S1E1, but at that time Thors doesn't answer, he just pats his head, now he "tells him" that he already knows the answer, aaaaah the feels 😭❤️ I love this season, I'm with Brig, I don't think S1 can be compared with S2 because they are too different, but I definitely like S2 more. I like the detail at the end, the anime shows importar people in Thorffin's life at the start of their journey (his parents, Leif and Askeladd) and then they show Thorffin at the beginning of his to reach Vinland. Next arc is, as of now, my favorite! I absolutely love every character that gets introduce there, hopefully we don't have to wait that much for a S3 announcement. Thank you guys for giving this show a chance ♥️

2023-08-12 20:36:25 +0000 UTCFor anyone a little confused by the ending, I believe this is showing the people who had the greatest impact on Thorfinn’s life, and at the age they began their individual journeys. Thorfinn is about to start his journey, and it’ll be an adventure with very high moments as well as very low moments; there will be a lot more fighting, and death, but there will also be peace, and new life. Also, if you rewatch the end of season 1, you’ll see three characters: a woman wearing green climbing up a mountain with some guy, a young girl on a beach around some figures that were drawn in the sand, and Einar on his way to eventually meet Thorfinn. I’ll just say that we haven’t met the women and young girl yet……
