I am pretty pumped for you though as it will get a bit interesting in the next couple of episodes and especially the next season (or Book 2), is where the franchise will truly shine. Next batch of episodes were the first to really get me intrigued. Also when I rewatched the first time (first time of many) I really loved episode 3.

2023-08-24 20:59:21 +0000 UTCFirst episode 6/10. Second episode 4/10. As soon as we saw the old king, I'm like, "that's Bumi." And then when Bumi said, "say my name" and a shocked Aang goes "you're Heisenberg" and then Bumi said, "you're goddamn right!" I lost my shit. But no actually, I knew that was Bumi the first second they showed him and knew he was going to ask Aang to say his name as the last challenge. The episode was better than the second one because of Bumi. This show actually made me slightly chuckle from the Lettuce Leaf joke. Second episode was pretty bad. Katara was super annoying in that one and is now officially part of the race to see who is the most annoying character between Aang, Sokka, and Zuko. Knew that old man was going to snitch on them when they helped him. So the Warden who has no problem putting prisoners in solidary confinement over the slightest thing and killing his subordinates for minor reasons is somehow letting Katara give a whole ass speech trying to start a riot, not once but twice, yeah ok. Also, shouldn't metal be part of earth bending? Overall, the show is still way too childish for me. And when the best character in your show is Bumi, then you have a big problem. Only redeeming quality so far is the creative ways they use their powers, everything else is straight doodoo.
