2023-08-28 23:27:14 +0000 UTCNot everything has to be character building, for it to be good. Gon is already an established character. This episode was more showing the audience (Netero, Killua, etc) and us the viewers just how hardheaded he is. It's more of a character reaffirming for Gon and character establishing for Hanzo, as well as getting in the head of Killua. You can of course still dislike it, but I don't think the episode was written badly. This is my second fav episode after ep 20 in the hunter exams.

Yeah I understand Gon is a dumb kid still, but the fact that we just watched him being a dumb kid for 20 minutes and not learn anything is why I found the episode to be extremely annoying to watch lol

There is no sequence of 2 good episodes in a row, or barely has it. overall all episodes of the show are good but in Heaven's arena there is a huge inconsistency. Chimera ant all episodes are good though. all 60 episodes are goated.
