I’m finally caught up on these episodes. Welcome Maddie! Hope you enjoy the journey. I’m so sad Ryleigh and Halleigh weren’t here for the Jet episode. I really wanted to see their reactions. I can see why first-time watchers want to plot to pick up. But I really enjoy episodes like these in the beginning, because I love rewatching the initial relationship between characters and seeing how it has changed to how I last remember them.

2023-09-14 02:27:05 +0000 UTCI've watched 10 episodes and this show is like 3/10 or max 4/10 so far. My biggest, but not the only, complaint is that it's way too childish. Another is that the story so far feels like a very long tutorial to a not so interesting game. Aang needs to learn to use his powers creatively? Lets create a basic side quest where someone (Bumi) teaches him that. Feels very tutorialesque. I also might have enjoyed this show more if I hadn't seen One Piece prior to this. They're very similar, but One Piece is more mature and just does everything better. Aang feels like a less interesting more annoying version of Luffy, Sokka is just a less funny more annoying Usopp, and Katara is just a more annoying less useful version of Nami.
