With AoT, Brig would literally tell us that return to shiganshina was the goat arc from the beginning as well as 2x6 being hyped to the moon and back haha. @Thomas Yesssss! WORD. I'm glad you mentioned it because this was confirmed by Akutami(the writer of JJK). Not only from H×H, but Yuyu Hakusho, too. (Also, Bleach) Like, when Toji appeared behind the Gojo in their fight for JJK2×3, I straight-up picture Gon and Hisoka's fight. It was a great hyped overlapped moment for me. There's more coming, and at this pace, JJK reaches those inspired scenes and dialogues before Geks reaches the H×H episode, but I am still excited!

I don't think their reactions have been ruined, but I agree with you that clean no prior knowledge or expectations is best for reactions. There have been many other reactors that have had reactions ruined because people would hype up upcoming arcs so much that it would be impossible for any show to live up to. Personally, I think hyping up arcs, characters, or any future events should be considered a spoiler.

I was a little sad watching those 4 episodes this week of H×H. Because Cannon, Carter, and Jack already have all expectations about which arcs or who people love, crazy high expectations for specific number of episodes, and all. I personally think it already killed the top experiences they could have had. It would have been a much better experience if they were in a clean state and knew nothing about it as they did for AOT. But well. I guess it's too late. Also, I recommend every H×H lover to rewatch it on Hulu after you watch their reaction, if you only watch it on Netflix or Crunchyroll. Whether you like it or not, Hulu actually has a much more accurate and true Sub to the Japanese audio, especially for hyped Yorknew episodes. H×H is deep and can be difficult if we want to dig it deeper, you know. With many characters and different states of mind, it never hurts to watch it again and again!
