Not in FMAB, he'svoiced by a woman in this one. He was voiced by a child in FMA but his voice had changed due to growing up by the time FMAB started, so they got a new VA who is a woman that made her voice sound like the original child VA. She did a pretty good job imo.

Im a person who usually chooses sub over dub and guess what I watched this show in dub and it’s still in my top 3 anime. I think they will still really enjoy the show. So everyone needs to seriously stop complaining about it.

THEN Ed says “u can to CANT u?” And Al says no and then they show flashbacks of Ed seeing truth. And Ed says so u didn’t see it did u. I mean if that’s not obvious idk what is. And it’s most definitely isn’t a spoiler.

Why is this show getting the short end of the stick every time? First it lost to HxH by a hair, and then after you guys decided to watch it, you make the experience worse with the dub... it's like this show is cursed on this channel.

Scar never dodged by reaction, he started moving before they shot, and when hawkeye caught him off-guard he got hit by the first bullet, and then barely dodged the next two bullets. He's exremely quick and I guess a bit lucky too, but he never moved faster than a bullet or reacted to a gunshot, just moved unpredictably. It didn't really break suspension of disbelief imo, especially since there's a lot of 'superhuman' stuff in the world of fma

I especially liked the scene where Alphonse lost his temper at Ed, he was spitting facts, and it is one of the first scenes that really made me appreciate his character. Up until now he has mostly been playing the part of the obedient little brother, so it was nice to see that he got absolutely furious at Ed for resigning himself to Scar - and not for selfish reasons because, like Ed, Al was also still thinking of their powerlessness in saving Nina. It's awesome to hear you guys talk about the characters and "the world" with the limited knowledge you have at this point. Keep it up!

Alchemy doesn't just give him inhuman reaction speed and inhuman actual speed to dodge bullets. Fictional stories and anime also have to abide by the rules they set. Unless alchemy gave him powers to dodge bullets, he shouldn't be able to do it.

2023-09-27 17:43:00 +0000 UTCMost state alchemist have the circle already drawn or tattooed on their hands or gloves so they don't have to draw it every time, that figures that you see in Mustang's gloves for example, that's his transmutation circle, but Ed doesn't need one, that's why everyone is surprise the first time that they see him doing alchemy.

2023-09-27 17:28:03 +0000 UTCAutomail is just mechanical prosthetics! Winry is amazing in her own right for being so young and being the one who made eds arm and leg! Scar is a super interesting character and I can't wait for y'all to see more. I think besides the different philosophies and thinking the show makes you do about what's morally right and wrong, the characters and their bonds are one of the best parts in the story. Also seeing McKay struggle to keep his mouth shut is hilarious. One thing I do wanna point out that I think is hilarious on Eds part is that during his state alchemist exam when Bradley asks him about his automail arm he says he "lost it in the eastern conflict" LIKE OKAY DUDE you were absolutely too young to participate in the war you goofy mf, and he did it all in front of the nations leader-- the guy who gave the extermination order. Oh, and yeah Roy and Armstrong do have transmutation circles on their gloves so they don't have to constantly draw one to perform alchemy.
