Its just numerical identification. The Number 11 on UVO's back doesn't mean he is the 11th strongest member. the precise rankings were never published so all the fans an do is assume and speculate.

The fact that the figures in front of you aren't in focus tells me the aperture is low and it lets in more light to the lens. It looks like it might be at f/4.0 so try maybe f/8.0 or something

All things being equal, a conjurer's Nen ability cannot overpower an enhancer's strength, but it can defeat it through other means, just not pure strength on strength. 2. Nen abilities can become stronger through training (additive) and conditions and/or covenants (multiplicative) 3. Kurapika's Nen ability is strengthened by a condition (Chain Jail can only be used on the Phantom Troupe) and a covenant (if he uses Chain Jail on a non-spider, he will die to the Nen blade pointed at his heart) That's all I will say for now because that's all that the show has explained so far.

Also as many said already, the number on the spider does not indicate how powerful the member is, it's just their number. The good thing about Nen is that we don't really know who will end up winning in a fight because all depends on how good the user is and how they adapt their ability to fighting, they don't rely that much on a power scale. Well at least that's what I like the most about it.

Vows and conditions (as you saw with Kurapika) is the coolest part of Nen imo, it allows for awesome powers but also control and reason to them (you can’t just be OP with everyone and everything)
