I can't even explain why it's so mesmerizing to me, like I feel like I want to live that scenario IRL or something. Both of their voice actors are so good too.

A murderer who understands the pain they cause to others is worse than one who doesn't imo

They’re presented as a group of cruel, irredeemable criminals, but we also see the genuine bonds they have with each other. Their dynamic, strong sense of camaraderie and “it’s us against the world” mentality is what’s makes them so interesting to me.

I think Killua is definitely more willing to escape given he knows the true identity of the chain user, and the longer they stay and the more they will be interrogated and give away information on Kurapika in the second round of questioning.

2023-10-15 23:19:46 +0000 UTCIn ep 50 when y'all were wondering why Gon and Killua were even trying to escape, I think from their perspective they just don't really know how likely or not it is that the leader would accept them. They get told they have extraordinary talent everywhere they go (like what Wing said, 1 in 10mil or whatever) so it's not too far-fetched that the Troupe would want to snag that talent. And if they do get accepted, they have no say in the matter and are now in the custody of the Phantom Troupe. So in a sense they feel they need to escape to preserve their freedom.

Whatshisbucket on the far right's favorite endeavor. you seamlessly manipulate the viewers by saying "oh you are not ready for so and so episodes", "next episode is my favorite of the show"... and so on so forth. It seems harmless by if you stop to think about why the person is saying that you can end up spoiling yourself. thats why even that is dangerous. Though i guess they are learning. they haven't been majorly spoiler yet.

I love the requiem scene, my brother was watching HxH when was airing and I remember he showed me the scene the week that happened, of course I didn't understand lol but years after when I finally watched, it's one of my favorite moments in the whole show!

One of the best feeling about shows that do a lot of foreshadowing is later, after an event happens, realizing all the foreshadowing that was done for that event. Pointing out the foreshadowing for something that hasn't happened yet tends to ruin the moments when they do happen.

An interesting ranking. Makes you think if the troupe members’ affinities play a factor with their standing. Also, Gon’s position. 👀 That was a crazy episode! Chrollo’s finesse is just 😮💨
