2023-10-27 06:41:02 +0000 UTCFun bit of lore about Avatar Kyoshi and the Avatar Day episode - the 370 years between Kyoshi and Aang was a mistake in the timeline they just had to roll with. Despite the fact that Kyoshi is only two Avatars before Aang, she lived nearly 400 years before. Even accounting for the 100 years Aang was in the iceberg, that's just way too much time unaccounted for. The creators realized this discrepancy but it was too late, so they hand-wave it away by saying "Kyoshi lived a really really long time."

Aang's line in the desert, when he meets the culprit sandbenders, and goes into the Avatar state out of pure rage... holy sh*t. "TELL ME WHERE *spoiler* IS." I think it's my favorite character moment of Aang in the entire series. It's like finally, he went a little Sith for a moment, lets gooooooo

It's literally one of her main five senses since she doesn't have one whole entire sense. When I first watched this series (not as a child), the line "I see through Earthbending" gave me chills. This is how to write a character.

You could criticize the finale for some plot mechanics here and there, but honestly, they nailed the CHARACTER element so well and closed all the arcs very well. Character is always the most important element that makes a story good. I can overlook a deus ex machina 100x if the characters are done well enough.

Think some of y'all mentioned having seen it before, but maybe not all of y'all? But great work nonetheless. Love to see you guys not only pumping out content, but also expanding the pool of shows you're watching. Pedal to the metal. Don't stop. Keep doing what you're doing. If time is an issue holding you back from producing as much as you could (which is a normal and positive step in the process), I'd seriously consider hiring an editor - if you haven't already. Shit, ask your community, you'd probably find someone who's willing to do it for cheap or even free. Flood the algorithms & they'll boost your content even more. Hiring an editor will pay for itself tenfold. Awesome work guys. Love the new ppl; it's cool seeing new people's perspectives on these shows we love. I always thought the "anime haters" thing was the most identifiable part of the "Gek brand" that sets you apart from other reaction content - so great idea to bring the ladies in to keep that element alive. Toph is OP & Iroh is one of my favorite characters of any sci-fi/fantasy property. Good to be back.

The persona he adopts is most likely a reference to Bao Zheng, a famous judge and investigator in the Song Dynasty.
