That's just my wishful thinking because of how much it just adds up to the experience or the feeling of an arc or like when I listen to this opening it makes me think of certain scenes, like " oh this is the opening song during that one episode" *starts sobbing* ahsahshahahsahaahah

Idk why but it took me a couple rewatches for me to realize Ling and May are siblings 🤦🏻♀️. I believe they showed it more in the 03 anime, but there have been instances of Ed blowing off the military because he puts his values and the well-being of others over what corrupt things the military might be doing.

So when they're fighting people they're literally going against the strongest people in their world as kids and not dying, over and over again, usually on their own for at least some span of time. Ed's also missing an arm and leg's worth of muscle mass, and in their place is heavy automail that he has to lift/maneuver while missing so much of his muscles (Lifting my leg while I walk, my leg also contributes to the movement, but this isn't the case for Ed).

I'm feeling this will be another Cannon's classic on not liking a certain character and then liking them in the end lol Ling is an interesting character to say the least, his Japanese VA is the same as Light from Death Note! I think this adaptation takes into consideration that people have seen the FMA original adaptation because there are characters that are not introduced properly here, tho they are not thaaaat important, but just for you guys to know, a lot of the first part on the story is cut off on this adaptation, Ed and Al actually travel a looot saving a ton of small towns and cities, that's why the Fullmetal Alchemist is well know and famous.

2023-11-13 03:38:13 +0000 UTCSo happy to see 2 new eps! And don’t worry Cannon, this story knows what it’s doing when it introduces new characters! And like other comments said, Ed is only in the military for the funding and research materials it can provide towards them finding a way to get their bodies back, and isn’t all that concerned with patriotism or policing others. Ling is moreso on a "research trip" than anything else. He’s just a guy with silly and goofy vibes, so Ed and Al saw him more as annoying than anything actually dangerous. FMAB is the kind of show where every episode develops the story more and more like an unraveling mystery or detective story; every single ep has hints towards the larger picture and it’s so fun watching it all unfold (and you guys trying to guess at it too!) FMA is definitely a show where it gets better and better, the final third of the show is some of the best anime out there!

2023-11-13 03:07:53 +0000 UTCI mean... Ed's not part of the military because he's patriotic and wants to serve his country. It's because he wants to use their resources to get his and Al's body back. Ling isn't a threat to them, their mission, or their country really. If there's one thing you should know about Ed and Al at this point is that they're (usually) always ready to give the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes to their favour, sometimes not.

2023-11-13 02:58:34 +0000 UTCi really do wish that intros and outros are watched and listened to as they add more experience and hypes up the show, in some shows you know the intro is so good when they add it to the final episode and you'll remember the journey and what you felt and such. just some thoughts hehe also the little changes they add to lyrics or scenes are so good
