2023-11-30 02:50:15 +0000 UTCI'm not saying it's a bad story, it's a great story and one of my favourites from what I've seen of it, and I'll keep watching it to see what route the show goes. I can't reveal the reasons for my dislike else I'd have to mention key moments in the series, but suffice it to say that I think some of the characterization mechanisms that the author chose to rely on were very unnecessary and out of place. Also, I've read that the author was forced to abruptly cut the comic short and that the ending is very rushed, with quite a few loose ends unanswered; do you know if that's true?

I’m curious as to which part your referring to? No spoilers for everyone else in the comments but for the most part everything wrapped up pretty neatly and i haven’t seen people upset about it so I’m curious to hear your answer haha

Of course, that's worst endings as per my own preferences, and I won't explain for sake of spoilers.

The only solution Ive found that works for me was to get the Patreon app and use it to AirPlay. The upside is that the app is actually way faster than the website ever was for me

Whereas other characters have inherent flaws and obstacles to overcome, Amber seems to be written as a character who is faultless and can do no wrong. They even had William and Eve just fully side with Amber to fit that narrative. Now it feels like they're trying too hard to make us like Amber this season without addressing those problems with her character first.

Regarding Amber's reaction to Mark leaving, it did make sense, but didn't too. As an isolated event, it's perfectly normal, but it being isolated doesn't make sense because that's all that she was having gripes with before. I'm team Eve
