the dude is definitely one of the stronger people in the verse probably an A tier combatant. He is also very clever and ruthless in executing his plans. He deserves credit but he is still weak as a villain. GI is still my favorite arc because its just fun.

Since Killua and Gon wrecked in the Hunter Exams with their superior physical abilities (against non-nen users) and were hyped up as nen prodigies in Heaven’s Arena, it is easy to forget that they are only 12 years old and started learning nen just months ago. Them even competing with these middle aged nen-users who have been honing theirs skills for decades is a crazy feat on its own. Also, I think I’d choose Biscuit’s power if I could have a nen ability lol. Free healing and massages whenever you want? Hell yeah.

The bomber is definitely more passive and unassuming than other villains we've seen already, but he did beat Jispa who was the strongest of 60ish from Nickes' group, and kill the entire Kazsule group offscreen (I had to look up the names to remember lmao). So it's understandable to underestimate his extreme capability and is why, personally, I was surprised to hear people didn't like him more after I finished the show. Definitely a result of the amazing villains in the show already and to come, but I think he deserves a lot of credit for his plan and being a surprisingly formidable fighter.
