Bleach is my personal favorite since childhood, HOWEVER One Piece is objectively better. Bleach just holds a special place in my heart. Naruto is good if you skip all the filler and gets too convoluted and goes down hill towards the end of Shipudden, and Boruto is hot doodoo garbage.

One Piece for sure, i was also a big hater since anime was all my siblings talked about (for basically all of 2015-2020) and One Piece was my first ever "Major anime" which probably wasn't the best idea but i remember my sister making a bet for me to watch 100 episodes by the end of the summer for like 50 bucks. And i didnt stop lol each episode was a cliff hanger and soon enough i was on episode 500 then 800 and now im completely caught up. I love most of the arks some more then others and i love all of the main characters and there backstories, and yes the designs do look wonky at first but it would look so weird without it.

Haha yeah I watched 65 episodes and fell asleep countless times, which doesn't happen to me often. But everyone said it's amazing and you have to take a while to warm up to it, though my opinion is that if a show is not great after 65 episodes/6 traditional anime seasons, then I wouldn't want to waste my time forcing myself to like it. Any show/story/idea can become great if you have literal hundreds upon hundreds of hours to keep adding to world-building/character development. A truly great story can do all that in just a few episodes. I'm 30 though so maybe it's just a bit too childish for me, but I'll still watch it if Gek picks it up since I'm sure hundreds of episodes in the story would (would have to be) pretty amazing at that point.

Dude I highly suggest you go watch the new episodes (not a remake, but the last 50 episodes of the show, now rated R), it's almost a different anime but at the same time it's same old Bleach vibes. Just as gritty as AOT, and the animation is absolutely amazing. To get a sense for it, maybe youtube "Kenpachi vs Unohana" and basically every fight is like that.

I don't know if I would have been able to make it through Naruto if I hadn't grown up watching it. I remember finishing Naruto and then finding season one of Shippuden when I was 13-14 when the English dubbed version was still being released. I followed along after that. I think the most annoying part was the filler episodes that would come out because I didn't have the option to skip them. Especially during the later half when crap hits the fan. Freaking Mecha Naruto was the stupidest episode ever. However, it's still a good show. Could it have been better if they'd made it grittier like AOT? Oh yeah. But this show is kid-friendly, so it's more light-hearted in certain aspects. As for Bleach, it had sooo much potential, but they screwed it up. I was hooked the first season or two before it crashed and burned. They have released a remake, but I haven't seen it.

ONE PIECE!!!! There is no other way to go. Yes it is the longest but One Piece has the best storyline I've personally seen in anime. Do NOT let the number of eps discourage. It's definitely a rewarding watch. I struggled to get into One Piece after the first episode because it felt too goofy and weird but once I let go of reality and dived into the world Oda (writer) created, I had the best anime experience of my life. It is now my fave anime surpassing AOT. I highly recommend it.

After thinking about it some more, despite it being the bottom of the bunch, Bleach really seems like the way to go. 1) It’s the only one none of you have seen so equal cooking opportunities all around. 2) It’s the pilot you guys seemed to like the best. 3) It’s the shortest of the bunch. 4) It’s hardly ever reacted to so could pull in some new members. 5) And the biggest reason of all: by the time you catch up, there will actually be an ending to watch! The anime returning after a decade, just in time for you guys, is basically the stars aligning and showing you the way. Plus, the jump in animation quality will be cool to experience. So, yeah, as much as it may pain me to say it when you got the GOAT, One Piece, and the very-nearly GOAT, Naruto…it’s gotta be Bleach.

And the animation, style, MUSIC, backstories: i already loved this since the beginning BUT i def agree that after progressing the story and rewatching the series on my own time..that i understood certain fights, dialogues and even actions from certain characters wayyyy more now. And now it's often not more about how only "sick" these scenes were but had a certain 'depth' behind it (?). Some ppl maybe don't like bleach as much as the other two ones . but Bleach is in the top3 for a reason.

Bleach is dark and gory sure. Out of the three, One Piece touches on more real world issues. Bleach and Naruto have very little of these and the stories are all about powerful characters fighting powerful characters. It’s fun but it’s for teenagers. I can only watch so much power of friendship stuff from Naruto before I start to vomit. The ending arc was absurd in terms of writing. Ending boss out of nowhere and suddenly a side character is able to revive so many powerful characters for the sake of a poorly written final war. Bleach is cool but I wasn’t happy with the ending arc either. I get that One Piece isn’t for everyone. I just like the story more and I want to know more about the mystery behind it.

I used to have such a skewed opinion on Bleach when I was younger. I remember liking it but was turned off by power scaling/ asspulls. It seemed like it was a very macho show with not a lot of depth. I thought it lacked the maturity of other shows in terms of story. It wasn't until later that I finally understood Tite Kubo's writing and how deep and emotional each fight gets. The fights are sick, but once I understood how the fights worked, I could finally see Bleach and its full potential. Anybody else have similar experience? Bleach backstories and music have you so invested. Man, I love this show.

I'm currently reading One Piece and there definitely some crazy peaks, but Naruto has peaks just as high in my opinion. I do agree that Naruto handles side characters worse than One Piece, but the core cast feels more human. Characters in One Piece are a bit more one dimensional 99% of the time, so they're more archetypal characters. Honestly I hope they watch both. They can probably fit a long running anime into their schedule without any difficulty. They could honestly probably do all 3, but they'd have to do 3-4 episodes of it per upload, and use a guide to skip all the unnecessary filler (although there are a few filler arcs that are semi-canon, like the Kakashi and Itachi arcs).

I mean everything I said is simply my own opinion, so they may not like one piece, 100% that's a possibility. However, from a lot of the shows they've seen it seems like they value good writing a lot, so of the Big Three one piece has the best. It may be considered "childish" in that it doesn't take itself seriously, it is intentionally silly with some of its jokes, and the characters are generally lighthearted, but it has very sophisticated world-building, plot, and characters. I say bleach has plot armor because (don't read on if you haven't watched bleach) it always felt like Ichigo's feats were less earned than the other MCs. Like he really unlocked his Bankai after two weeks of training when it takes everyone else 200 years?

They all have plot armour, and bleach has the least filler - you could def say one piece has less, but so many "canon" episodes have filler content in them, which means you can't skip it. I'll admit I haven't seen much of one piece, but from I have seen, and what people I know say about it, it's a lot less mature and a lot more "anime" than the other 2, which I think they'd hate. Again tho, I haven't seen much so can't really say how true that is.

I've watched all 3. I would say bleach is the worst objectively due to the plot armor of the main cast and the ridiculous amount of filler. Although, personally I don't really like Naruto because I found the ending and a lot of my favorite characters' arcs COMPLETELY unsatisfying (no hate, totally understand why some people like it, that's just my opinion). One piece is EASILY the best. It's long but the writing is consistently great which is more than I can say for the other two. Also the creativity and world-building is some of the best I've ever seen, anime or not!

One Piece has ups and downs with high peaks, Bleach starts great but tapers off with very few peaks. Naruto starts incredible and has really high peaks. One Piece is an objectively more cohesive world and story than Naruto, but I think Naruto is was more approachable and equal One Piece in it's peak moments. I think it's easier to like characters in Naruto as well, One Piece characters seem more archetypal and harder to resonate with. Naruto characters are very human and easier to resonate with.

These are fine to watch on your spare time but an absolute snooze fest to watch someone react to. There are episodes amongst the hundreds within all of these that are great to see reactions to but not enough to warrant a full series reaction. I'd suggest sticking to the shorter to medium sized shows. Ranking of Kings, Made in Abyss, and Frieren are some greats off the top of my head. Maybe you could do this same concept of "first episodes" for short/medium shows??? idk, just my humble opinion n suggestion!

I’ve watched all the big 3 (except one piece i am on ep 700ish) i would give you just a brief idea on them. Bleach is a master staller, it’s crazy how Boring it gets, but when you get to the new seasons it is worth it. naruto has the best characters but my god some characters have toxic optimism with the most evil people and they would reason with them. I think one piece has to be the first because how long it is, and i can assure you that it is worth the length, you could always watch one pace if it gets a little lengthy

One Piece has the best worldbuilding and the most wholesome cast and some of the arcs later (like HxH) are just insane. I do think the anime adaption can be a little antiquated though (I like the manga a lot) Bleach is fucking awesome and has an S tier soundtrack and vibes. Everything about it feels really cool as hell I don’t know how to put my finger on it. Naruto is really great too from what I’ve seen but I’m still super early in.

100% agree, One Piece has about the same episode count as Bleach (366) + Naruto (720) combined. I'd say Bleach is the best option both in terms of their tastes in shows and also feasibility, since picking any of the other two would sacrifice dozens of other potential shows that they could otherwise watch/viewers they'd expand their reach to. I've seen all three: Bleach has a GOATed OST (i still listen to it when I need to get hyped for a workout), some of the best character designs, and 2 peak arcs. Also, the MC is way better than Naruto. Other than that, it's very forgettable. Naruto has a very good OST, especially the villain OSTs, the best fights out of the three, some really high highs, but also really low lows. Overall its pretty good but the good stuff gets dragged down by some shit characters, some brainless direction of the story, and just overall anime tropeness. One Piece has amazing characters, fleshed out storylines, amazing worldbuilding, uplifting story, definitely the most consistent of the three and just keeps getting better and better as the story goes, thought-provoking mystery, and a lot of high highs and not very many low lows. Although it has the "weakest OST" out of the three, the OST is still top tier and does exactly what it needs to do. Ohh and EASILY the best MC and overall main cast out of the 3 shows.

Resubbed just to recommend One Piece. People should really stop saying "the big 3." These 3 shows were called that a decade and a half ago when they were clearly the best 3 anime shows. By this point One Piece has by far and away eclipsed the other two shows. OP manga sales are going to surpass the number 1 comic Superman soon and it will become the number 1 comic, even though it started publishing in the 1990s and Superman started publishing in the 1930s. Imo Naruto is the best out of the big 3 and personally my top 2 after AOT. Bleach is really good but the beginning can indeed be a drag to get through. Also, Bleach final arc is currently being released so it has much better animation and pacing than the og anime. One Piece is too long and because of that it's more susceptible to having boring parts and it only gets worse with the pacing the further it goes. Best way to describe one piece is that it has incredible highs but also lower than low lows lol if you can be open minded about it and not be too critical on things that "don't make sense" then I'm sure you guys will love it tho!

Yeah art-wise even reasonable OP fans will tell you that it is hilarious in some parts. Pacing is another main critique I've generally seen for it but the world building and plot is among what makes it so great even compared to bleach and naruto. Putting aside Bleach as my personal fave, there's a reason OP is as big as it is globally. The story just has that much going for it. Fights and stuff are great in all of them so not necessary to mention imo.

Having watched all of them, my most liked of the big 3 changed as i grew up. Imo, One Piece was the best, then naruto then bleach when I was younger. But now that I'm older, Bleach is my favorite. Mostly due to Ichigo being a more mature and overrall cooler mc compared to luffy and naruto. Also, while the art for each series has improved, the Bleach character art style is the one I liked the most to this day. Story-wise I would say one piece definitely has the most going on. In fact it's even the only one still running in the manga lol. They're all great though in their own way so hope you guys have fun if you choose to continue watching 1 or all of them at your own pace. For ease of watching I would also suggest what another patron suggested to watch either Naruto or Bleach cause One Piece is over 1000 episodes and still ongoing lol but definitely up to you guys.

If you want to continue with any of them I think you should do this for at least two more episodes and then see which one suits your taste better. But as a reaction channel I think it would be smarter to watch newer and shorter series. It think that would give you a wider reach and it’s more interesting to watch a range of stories and not having to commit to watching something for months or years. I myself would love your reactions to something like Tengoku Daimakyou, Call of the Night or upcoming series like Dandadan. And I’m sure there are more great examples that I haven’t watched.

Best 1st ep was Bleach or Naruto. Probably Bleach just because Naruto 1st ep has too many inconsistencies, both within the ep and from the rest of the show imo. However, you should watch Naruto or One Piece. I want to say One Piece just because I love the first 40 or so episodes, but Naruto story wins overall for me. You don't see as many people talk about Bleach because the old anime finished a long time ago and Bleach kind of fell off, but the new anime continuation is really good and has rejuvenated the fanbase. Also, ngl while Bleach is definitely the coolest of the 3 (and so my favourite when I was a kid), I have more of a connection with the other two just because I've watched them for so much longer and for other reasons that I don't want to spoil. Also, Bleach had the worst filler issues of the big 3. Naruto had it pretty bad too but not quite as bad and One Piece just has terrible pacing instead of filler.

I gotta be honest, after watching all of these pilots over again... I'm shocked you guys didn't unanimously agree the Naruto pilot was best. It was a perfect pilot. It made you care about Naruto as a character immediately, it demonstrated the brutality of that world perfectly, and it was paced beautifully. It had a beginning and an end. That pilot was almost a standalone story, with a good ending... The other 2 were set ups for later episodes. The Naruto pilot in hindsight is one of the best pilot episodes I've ever seen in terms of setting up a world, story, and character.

I wouldn't recommend either of these because D. Gray-Man went for several seasons and eventually was suspended (due to author's health if I recall) only to be continued years later... and then dropped again. Seraph of the End was getting so good at the end of the second season, but just ends mid arc and never was continued.

Bleach has the list filler if you stick to just watching canon episodes, meaning it has the most direct watching path and good pacing. The episodes that are canon aren't bogged down with constant flash backs or slowed down pacing, so once you just skip the large filler arcs it's smooth sailing. If you watch Naruto you need a filler list up constantly because filler is mixed in everywhere. Also Bleach only has a lot of filler compared to Naruto by percentage of total episodes. It has less total episodes and less filler in raw numbers, so it's also a much shorter series.

Shippuden is incredible. It offers backstory and fights scenes that are some of the best in all of anime. One of the only bad parts I can think of is the first arc, but at that point you are already sucked into the show and along for the ride, so it shouldn’t bother you.

I see theres a lotttt of comments, so I just skimmed some of the latest, but I agree with the people recommending a poll to see which big 3 to focus on more first! Or I was honestly wondering if it might be possible to give each series like,,10 or so episodes maybe first to see which captures yalls attention most and then go from there? Its just a cultural/language difference in Japanese, where its normal for a younger girl/boy to refer to an older male as "older brother" or a friends mom simply as "auntie" and so on and so forth~ - Also yes, that poster was of Ichigo's mom. Idk if yall ended up catching it in the subtitles, but it said it was her "memorial poster" as well, so Ichigo's dad is speaking to it dramatically in place of his actual mother because shes already passed. Also I'm not sure if it was just a mispeak or not, but I think it was Canon who referred to Yuzu as Ichigos mom, but shes actually just his little sister! - And yes, the soul reapers are referred to as "shinigami" which I think you all recognize from death note, because they are both with the same "grim reaper" sort of counterpart we have here, and "Shinigami" is just literally "death god" - Anddd last note and little fun fact here! In Japanese culture butterflies are sometimes seen as symbolizing the souls of the departed, so you will see them frequently in bleach! Naruto: No notes here really, lmao - just glad yall enjoyed it! Sorry for the crazy long comment, but hopefully some of the notes are helpful at least, if anyone ever ends up comin across this one~

Genuinely wouldn't recommend reacting to any of these. That's not to say that you shouldn't watch them on your own time if you're interested, because they absolutely are foundational and have great stories. However, they're also all incredibly long and suffer from pacing issues/animation that's no longer up to par/cheesy tropes/etc. IMO I'd rather that the time/energy that would go into reacting to a mega long series be saved and put towards watching shorter shows across various genres. Suffering from shonen fatigue at the moment...

One Pace doesn't just skips the fillers but also overall speeds up the whole anime, cutting dialogue that's not important and shots that are unnecessarily long. If it was just about the filler episodes, just skipping those episodes would be enough.

Watch One Piece anime!!! It truly is the GOAT of all GOATS. Trust me boys if you give this show a try you will never regret it. The story, the world, the emotion, the friendship, the epic villains, the best MC of all time in Luffy and the characters are on another level as it develops over time. I honestly never thought I would love it this much and now its my favorite anime of all time even after taking into consideration its slow start and pacing issues. If not OP then I am happy with Naruto as it is tied with OP when it comes to my favorite anime of all time. Bleach starts of with a bigger bang than One Piece and Naruto and has some epic moments but after watching all of it to date as a full package it doesnt come close to the amazing story and world of the other 2.

I really really like One Piece, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea for you guys to watch the whole show. It feels like a big commitment. Although it's amazing, it's very very long, and I'm afraid that at least one of you will end up not liking it that much/getting bored and you won't be able to go through the whole show (I did hear about the One Pace option which avoids fillers but idk much about it). After all people have different tastes. But I guess you could try watching a few more episodes and see what you all think, maybe?

I watched my first anime at 20 years old, it was Naruto. I used to be an anime hater. The Gaara vs Rock Lee fight is just at episode 30+ something, and after that, you’ll be hooked 100%. I recommend they watch NARUTO I’ve heard that people don’t feel One Piece for 100s of episodes.

I know some of you always make fun of it on the video, but it may become really special to you guys. (Pace can be a problem, but still.) When it came out, One Piece was definitely the one really original, other two was kind of knock off of some other shows in 80s. Don't get me wrong, Naruto is still one of the best out of it. (I'm sorry. Not bleach. It's great especially first part, but it's mess. This isn't writer's fault, but Jump system's fault back then.) Also, if you start now, I think there's the possibility that you may catch up to the end episodes when it comes out. Then maybe we can all watch together! Number of filler ep's is mostly irrelevant -- you can find lists online of which ep's are cannon, mixed, or filler. I'd wager one of them has already seen both Naruto and Shippuden, so I'd more or less accept their judgement in regards to what ep's to watch.

I watched all three, love them all, but Naruto the most. In my subjective opinion, One Piece has a simple concept, simple but necessary messages, one long exciting adventure and boring fights. At that moment, BLEACH is the opposite, cool and badass characters with interesting fights but with a lame plot. In my opinion, Naruto is the most balanced of the three, it has everything: cool fights, a good setting, an interesting plot, badass antagonists with reasonable motivations, iconic soundtracks and most importantly, the ending. Of course, there are also disadvantages, such as the number of fillers and sometimes episodes about nothing. But nevertheless, I recommend that you start with Naruto if you plan to. P.S. Sorry for my English, I'm still learning.

I've only seen Naruto and Bleach - the first few arcs of Bleach are amazing and the character designs are great, but the story line after leaves a lot to be desired imo. With Naruto, the emotional peaks hit hard but you have to go through a lot to get to those points (DEF skip filler episodes). Honestly maybe watch the One Piece live action instead?? I have to agree with some people are saying, and watching any of these anime will take a long time to complete. There was a time when I was bingeing on Bleach and Naruto for several hours within a day for a couple of months, and it became tiring after a while. Having said that though, any of these anime would be a good choice to pick up new viewers as well as continuing to immerse yourself in the anime world (for the two anime haters).

This is the one thing I would say, although OP is fantastic and the guys might enjoy it going at their own paces, I feel like for their YT channel/business alongside watching other series too, OP might be a big of a logistical nightmare. I personally find with super long series that I need breaks after arcs sometimes, and will take a few weeks off. Also the pressure of having to keep up every week with such a long show might skew their enjoyment of it, which would be a shame for all the people hyping it up.

Based on what I’ve gathered from your taste thus far with all that you’ve watched, I’d recommend Bleach out of the Big 3. You’ll get less of the anime tropes and fillers that you dislike, the story’s tone and pacing will be more up your alley if you’re looking to start the journey.

One Piece is always soaring after it actually starts to fly. And that can take a while. Most people don’t get hooked til episode 40ish, many not til the early 100s, and a few holdouts not til the 230s. Going by their HxH format of 4 episodes per week, that’s 2 1/2 months, 6 months, and about 1.2 years respectively (about as long as it would take them to do canon Bleach in its entirety or be well into peak Naruto). This is coming from a guy who agrees with you completely that One Piece is the goat.

At this point I don’t even know which one you should pick - they are all great. And I am convinced all of you would enjoy all three choices. My personal favourite is OP, although there are a lot of episodes and the pacing can be slow at some times, this show just never disappoints. None of you have seen Bleach so that would be a nice change as well. If possible, please also share how you came to a decision

One Piece is considered to be, critically, the best of the Big Three, but it’s obviously also the longest and therefore has a lot of room for advanced writing and character development. As someone who has watched anime for almost 20 years now, it was definitely the one show I found the "weirdest" in tone and character design, so it took me years to try it. But now that I’m actively watching, I’m really enjoying it. That said, it also is said to have pacing issues, which I think a lot of very long serialised manga and anime shows can get due to being written continuously over a long period of time (Naruto anime filler is a similar issue due to the anime and manga running at the same time back in the day). Shows like FMAB and AOT are shorter with fully outlined plots from the beginning, so every episode counts and the entire story feels more concise and put-together. Back in the day of the Big Three, anime didn’t have ‘seasons’ the way shows do now, they would just run continuously, so if the story caught up to the manga they just had to start making things up! Bleach is the shortest of the big three, so if you’re worried about the long runs of the shows or the possibility of not finishing, Bleach may be the best one to start with! Naruto is the show out of the big three I am the most connected to because I started watching it on TV when I was about 8 years old, and all the characters on the show felt like family to me - I have a huge amount of nostalgia for it, so I definitely have a bias! That said, ignoring filler, I truly think Naruto, especially the first part pre-Shippuden, is an old-school masterpiece. Original Naruto has some of the most amazing and iconic character moments, emotional beats, and fight scenes in all of early anime, that continue to influence media today; just yesterday I watched the new Netflix show Blue Eye Samurai and it has an incredible reference to THAT iconic Rock Lee moment (if you know you know). The theme music in Naruto can still bring a tear to my eye decades later. No one will ever forget the speech on the bridge (all I’m gonna say), the training arcs, or that final fight… It is an incredibly ‘emotional’ show, as are a lot of these older series, because they had more ‘time’ to let the plot choices sit and linger for the characters the way contemporary, seasoned shows don’t. Modern shows are very fast-paced because they only have 12-24 episodes per season to squeeze in the plot, whereas Naruto never felt the need to rush because there was always another episode next week. So one thing I will advise with you guys watching older shows is: be patient! It’s the journey not the destination!

I beg for none of these, Naruto has a special place in my heart but I can't see the guys enjoying most or any of these shows. One Piece's pacing, I haven't watched Bleach but heard it isn't as good as the others and Naruto's & One Piece's cringe which these guys dislike. Honestly just keep it to shorter running shows. There are so many insane shows left that would take 1/50th of the time to watch. Variety is best imo, instead of a year if not more of one show.

I always appreciate it cause it brings me a genuine small and it truly feels like a journey. Besides you might be there for the final saga! As someone who has experience with all of them I would recommend Bleach. Bleach is shorter than Naruto and One Piece. There is filler in Bleach but it is in the aspect of arcs, so easy to skip. However, Bleach is releasing new episodes and the new episodes have been top tier so far. Bleach would be the easiest to catch up and probably understand. Bleach should be airing final episodes next year. I would go One Piece next. One Piece is so long but to my knowledge there aren’t many, if any, filler in the anime so you would stick with story longer and the power system is cool. The power system does have the possibility of getting confusing but it would be a good watch. One Piece would provide variability and entertainment if watched. Last is Naruto. It is a good show but to me, doesn’t really pick up till the later half. There are tons of filler in it and sometimes the filler last to long. If you choose to do Naruto I would recommend seeing if the site that cuts out the filler still exists. Naruto is so much filler unrelated to the story and also does random flashbacks that last longer than they should. It would be a good show but you would have to find out how long the fillers are and which ones are worth watching/should be watched. Side Note: seeing Jackson so happy watching One Piece was fun.

I've watched all three of them (stopped one piece at episode 800 like 4 years ago though) and it's honestly really, really hard to choose one. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, it's almost hard to choose. One piece is long but has amazing story lines and honestly it's pretty fun! You will be seeing stranger characters than what you're seeing now but the whole concept was pretty cool in my opinion so I enjoyed it. Just know you will be in for a LONG ride and one fight scene will take like 4 episodes to finish, since I know you guys do around 4 episodes a week, I don't know how that'll affect you guys. You may have to end in the middle of some sick moments. Naruto I honestly just really loved. The concept of ninjas is cool, the powers and everything about it is awesome but LOTS of filler. It is heavy on cheesy anime concepts though and it's obviously long. Bleach might be the most plausible for a few reasons- it's the shortest, you guys seem the most interested, none of you have seen it, and a current production of the anime is being made right now. It's called thousand-year blood war and has sick animation. I think you guys might really enjoy the bankai powers they have. I guess since I've explained I feel Bleach is probably the best fit for you all but regardless I support you guy's decision!

In terms of episodes, Bleach is the shortest one (without fillers it's something like 203). In terms of new anime experience, Bleach is also a whole new thing (HXH already has a big world building like OP). Also, if you'd watch Naruto then you'd just realize how big GOAT Togashi is (HXH creator) - slightly inspired JJK but heavily inspired Naruto (arc structures, characters, etc.). So yeah, I guess if you wanna watch one of the Big Three, Bleach is the perfect one. A bit longer, but not as long as the other two.

One Piece 100%. The emotion, the comedy, the mysteriousness, this anime has everything. The worldbuilding is fantastic. The characters are great, most of them have a pretty good backstory. The power system is really cool and gets expanded later on. I'm not one of those toxic OP fans that just recently became a fan of the anime because of all the hype, i have been watching it since i was a child. Anyways, i really hope you'll stick with One Piece(copium) but i just know it's not gonna happen because of the sheer amount of episodes.

Naruto and One Piece have great moments but I'd honestly never want to rewatch them. Beyond terrible pacing. Bleach is much much shorter and IMO has the most hype battles of the 3 by far, and without question the best music. Also the first 60 episodes of Bleach are peak shounen anime. All three series are very trope-y obviously but Bleach has the most unique approach and is the most memorable.

There are multiple Bleach filler arcs. They are pretty self contained full seasons between major arcs. Some people didn't like them, but I found it much preferable to the constant randomly appearing Naruto filler. Besides one filler arc that took place in the middle of a major arc (in the moment it was a bummer but when it went back to canon it went hard) it was great because you knew once a season started you were locked in and not going to have random filler or weird pacing. People complain about filler but if One Piece had more filler like Bleach, the pacing would have been much better overall even if you had long breaks in canon episodes, and it would make it much easier for new viewers to jump in because they skip entire filler arcs like you can with Bleach and have great pacing.

Can't really say much on repetitive arcs since I aight caught up all the way yet but the previous arcs that I have seen are incredible and don't feel repetitive. my vote goes to one piece, i think the our main cast is very good, and they all have their unique goals. its a very adventurous and has the best world building out of any anime out there. all 3 of these shows have their problems with pacing/fillers, you can easily tell that they started in early 2000's when you compare it to modern anime. one pace is fine, it is more faithful to the manga as far as the pacing of the arcs go, and im sure nobody would be mad if you take that route.

My vote goes to naruto just because it's my favorite out of the big 3 and will always have a special place in my heart and also it already has an ending and is finished already as well. All of them are amazing though so you should try them all. The fillers in naruto could also be skipped too, there's some lists out there that shows which ones are the filler episodes. Quick note tho, when are you guys going to try other genres of anime? Like it would be cool if you try to watch slice of life, romance, mystery, comedy, sports etc. I'd recommend anime like fruits basket (2019), barakamon, death parade, bungou stray dogs, another, angel beats some of them are just pretty shorter ones too so you can finish them easily

Also curious what others think, but to me Naruto is the worst offender with cringe anime tropes because even watching them new years ago I would get annoyed. The other two do them as well to some degree but it I didn't get the feeling that they did the cheesy tropes and stuff as excessively or over use the same ones over and over. Early Naruto has some fantastic moments for sure, but I think they might genuinely get bothered by how tropey it can be and how often.

Bleach has the best filler of the big three. That lady in court asking why no one mentions the Bount after their season? I dunno maybe because they all died. It's still filler of course but it will always be infinitely better than Naruto filler (a low, low bar but still) and they formatted it to just be full filler seasons so everything is super cohesive otherwise. One Piece has almost no filler but that with no breaks is what leads to slower pacing overall.

There is something about One Piece that's so addictive, take it from someone who thought it was too long but end up watching 500 eps in 2 months, the world is interesting and has a unique world building in fiction, amazing characters that you would never have thought you would root for, controversial topics that give you chills, iconic villains that you will love and hate with all your guts, backstories that will crush you emotionally, and the amazing story of determination and friendships. It is an amazing story that doesn't stir from its goal, yes, there will be a few flaws but with the over all story it is known to be one of the best of work in fiction. However, if you all do watch it or not it's up to you all, if not on the channel then maybe whenever you do in your own time.

One Piece is my favorite. It really is a journey that just captures a sense of adventure like few other things and the world building is so compelling. Overall One Piece is my number one, followed closely by Bleach, and then Naruto I honestly I've seen most of but there are plenty of parts that I don't like. Naruto has some great highs but also a lot of junk that makes me groan. One Piece has pacing issues later but the story still makes it worth it for me and I've even rewatched it up into the high hundreds after I'd caught up. Bleach I still love though and would highly recommend to anyone interested in anime. Bleach is definitely number one in "cool" factor and style.

I watched Naruto first then Bleach (so nostalgic). I couldn't get into One Piece even after 10 eps because of the character designs and fight scenes didn't get to me. What I loved about Naruto and Bleach are that the fight scenes were more epic and the names of the power abilities were creative and cool (all the bankai and jutsu). The soundtrack during intense scenes or fight scenes and the villains are great!

Also I’ve watched Naruto when it aired live and omggggg was it annoying to wait weeks for fillers to end, literally fillers that could’ve been avoided or completely unnecessary to the storyline but yk the industry needs to keep the audience rating so the amount of filler in Naruto too much and I mean a lot to the point where there are guides to skip all the unnecessary episodes. Honestly that says a lot about a series plus the talking iykyk. In comparison to one piece EVERY EPISODE IS LORE even if it’s considered a filler episode it’s somehow still important to plot. It’s revelance is used for some background lore and used for either a few episodes or hundred episodes later. And it feels like your on the journey with them,for example storylines are intertwined and your only seeing it through luffy´s perspective whereas Naruto feels more linear to me. I have nostalgia with Naruto, hell I even watched boruto cause I missed it but Naruto has peaks and extreme lows where’s ONE PIECE is always soaring.

bleach is the least liked in shonen anime because ichigo was kind of a bad ass right off the jump and took a different route from other protagonists also my most rewatched anime and one of my favorites so many dope characters....one piece has amazing arcs but can be very corny and strange most of the time and naruto shippuden is where it really starts becoming a conversation for goated animes aswell as some of the sickest characters in anime

I honestly never thought I would love it as much as I do and now its my favorite anime of all time even taking into consideration its slow start and pacing issues. I’ve watched all 3 in their entirety and I’ll definitely pick One piece. Naruto fights I think are the best overall and bleach has the best OSTs imo. Though I would say one piece just has the greatest worldbuilding where so many characters are doing things behind the scenes, greatest backstories and a cast that never gets left behind by the main character which I feel was a little gripe I had with Naruto and bleach kinda. Thought they all are great so excited if you start one.

Okay so coming from someone who was also an Anime hater up until late 2020 I can say for certain without a doubt that One Piece is the best anime hands down! Ive seen over 50+ anime so far since starting my journey and it may not be everyones favorite anime but One Piece is objectively the best anime in terms of character, story, world building, and adventure. Now its not my favorite, that would be tied between AOT, HxH, and Re:Zero however I can say that One Piece is the best objectively speaking. It takes a while for the show to pick up, specifically in Alabasta which is the second arc of the show (60+ episodes in till it starts). Now with that said the show is amazing and is worth the time investment. I havent read or watched a piece of entertainment with such grand ideas and an overarching story that ties so many plots together. Whether yall continue to watch the show or not doesnt matter to me per say, as long as yall continue to post any anime I will be here for the journey👍🏻 Hope yall enjoy the anime atmosphere for years to come from one anime hater to another the journey just keeps getting better. Lets bring the dawn all my One Piece fans! Im sure the Sun God is looking down upon us all with a contagious laugh and a big smile😁☀️☀️☀️🤣🤣

So the first one i ever watched from these was naruto and i loved it ended up being my favorite and i tried out onepice after and i thought i wouldnt like it but it passed my expectations and till this day its my favorite anime/show the characters are amazing,amazing story like really good and the world building has slavery racism taking over "countries" they have navy marines World Goverments a bunch of different powers. Naruto is a good anime really good for beginners the most recommend and i do too, i say if you want a short one and really good then naruto but skip some fillers and it has good villains and goos story/fights its my 2 favorite anime but bleach i do love it but you gotta have the most patience with it out of the 3 because it does slow down at one point and i lost interest and picked back up about 6 months or a year later but if yall willing to give One Piece a try yall wont regret it at all youll think 1000 episode isnt enough once you caught up, but is not give Naruto a try but not bleach

This is a hard one. I guess I vote either Bleach or Naruto. Bleach I'd say is the closest to my heart but not sure if the story and scenes later in the show would be something you guys would dig. I'd love it if you guys reacted to it though either way. Honestly, I don't know if watching any of these will be worth it. These anime set the foundation for other to learn from so there is absolutely value in them, but at the same time, you would trading your watch time that could used to watch what their efforts evolved into. On top of older shows being harder to watch in general, many people didn't like anime back when these were popular, just saying. That said, definitely pick Naruto Shippuden. Thirty episodes of an anime, no matter its length, is enough to determine if I enjoy it or not. The most intriguing episode was about a random character that is stuck in a barrel on a mountain. It may be good later on, but it isn't worth watching hundreds of episodes to hit a good point in the show. Naruto gets good early and I am sure Bleach does as well after the first ten or so.

As someone whos watched both Naruto and One Piece, I have to say One Piece does take a little bit longer to get to the good stuff and the arcs do drag somewhat. But I would have to choose it over Naruto just because of how captivating the world and characters are and how crazy it has been going recently. That's not to say Naruto isn't fantastic as well it definitely gets through its arcs quicker than One Piece and it sucks you into its world quicker but spending the time to explore One Piece's world is a feeling I got in no other show. But honestly I'm happy with either and maybe I got recency bias (not sure about bleach though).

These big shows aren’t overrated. But there may be some cringe parts. They’re all good shows but they start out slow. The only one I haven’t finished is One Piece mainly because I’m not a huge fan of the art style and that plays a role (or at least half of it) in which anime I watch. Personally, I tried to watch OP a few times throughout the years. As a kid it aired all the time on whatever channels I used to watch, so I jumped in as a teenager and got to ep 65 and it was just super dry and random, again watched to 65 in my early 20s and thought the same. Bleach was always sick af in my mind, Ichigo is by far the coolest MC of the big 3, and Naruto was the first anime after DBZ that I watched that made me obsessed. Bonus that Bleach is airing again but super gory and rated R since it landed a nighttime slot on Japanese TV, watching Bleach with AOT maturity is insane. Now though, my brother who has the same taste in shows as me more or less watched 1000 episodes of OP in 2 months and claims it's the best show in history, so I'm pretty psyched for a late 20s rewatch. I trust his judgement so I'll give it a go, if it's sick then damn I have endless content awaiting me...

I love all 3 of these anime and am so so so happy you guys enjoyed each one!!! I grew up with Naruto and Bleach and recently watched One Piece 1-2 years ago. Naruto use to by my number 1 favorite for so many years but One Piece is now my number 1 anime of all time after only a few weeks of binging it. It may suffer sometimes in terms of pacing but the story, world building, characters, emotion are all sooooo extraordinarily executed. If you love backstory, One Piece has some of the most AMAZING backstories and there will be GUARANTEED tears. There’s a reason why Oda is number 1 worldwide in manga sales and also known as the GODA. I’m honestly still shocked that Naruto was at one point my all time favorite for so long but is now my least favorite of the 3 and is not even in my top 10 anime. 🫢 I definitely still love it though, it’s nostalgic for me lol. I hope we get more!!!! (Choose One Piece 🫶🏻)

Honestly, I'm down for any of the three since they're all GOATED. Like any long show, all three have their ups and downs when it comes to certain arcs, but that's to be expected from such long shows. Like people have been saying, skip the fillers for all of them. It'll save you guys lots of time. I couldn't help but have a smile on my face watching this because of the nostalgia. Wasn't expecting all three reactions in a single video 😲😁Good stuff boys! If I had to pick one out of the Big Three, I'll pick Bleach since Carter and Cannon seemed to enjoy the pilot the most. It has the best OSTs of the three, some really good early arcs (decent-to-good later arcs too), and a neat power system.

I watched all 3 in 2019 (and dragon ball, it was a busy year) and my favorite was Naruto. I do love one piece too but Naruto just hits in the feelings, it's got amazing villains and great world building. Naruto also has one of my fav charactersof all time, right next to Levi ❤ I loved the later arcs a lot, first anime that made cry my eyes out. Bleach was okay, I dont have a lot to say about it though, soundtrack is amazing. I think you would like the beginning of one piece but even with one pace it gets very daunting, at least that was my experience with it. Its got ups and downs but it does have very peak arcs and peak moments, world building is crazy good. My vote goes to Naruto but I will support whatever you guys decide to watch. AND if you can't decide, just watch 86, you will love it ❤

WHAT this is such a pleasant surprise. I'd say OP is the goat - the worldbuilding is really strong and luffy is actually a really well-made main character. Naruto is great as well, especially if you like ninjas, but honestly Bleach is only good until a certain point and it goes downhill from there.

just finished the video! personally, one piece is one of my favorite anime of all time but i’ve also never seen naruto or bleach. i watched narutos pilot earlier this year and just couldn’t get into it but rewatching it with yall definitely made it better. i think everyone seemed to like the pilot for bleach the most, especially carter and cannon, so personally i think you guys should go with your gut and continue that one first. but all three pilots were so solid and speaking from experience, one piece really is THE goat. so no matter what, ill be happy LOL also, from experience, one piece is fantastic but it doesn’t get “insane” until arlong park and tbh that’s not even INSANE. the truly insane stuff isn’t until like episode 200ish. although i do think you’d all fall in love with the characters so much in one piece. i also think it would be a fun watch because only jackson has seen it so we’d get raw, first time reactions from practically EVERYONE. with naruto, i honestly dont know like ANYTHING about it but the pilot was fun and i feel like everyone would enjoy watching it with yall. bleach overall seemed the most interesting. ichigo was SICK and the plot seems so cool. glad you guys did this and honestly no matter what, i feel like everyone will be satisfied.

I’ve watched all three and I have to say I think One Piece is my favorite. The fillers killed Bleach and Naruto/Naruto Shippuden for me. One Piece fillers are at least enjoyable where the other two break the story. Bleach has the best first few arcs Soul Society arc is amazing. Naruto made me cry a ton and it is very good when it’s on the plot but there are SO MANY FILLER. One Piece is consistently good. Jack you need to watch episode 1 on One Pace before you decide on it. It’s not just removing filler it also rearranges episodes. Personally I’m not a fan. Regardless watch what y’all enjoy I don’t think any of them are a miss they are popular for a reason.

As someone who has seen all of Naruto, it is the greatest of the three. I tried to watch One Piece, but thirty episodes in, which I understand is not a lot in comparison to the amount there is, I enjoyed at most three episodes. I watched a few of Bleach and it was slightly boring, but I've heard the beginning is slow and a friend of mine enjoys it. Overall, I believe Naruto is the best, and the dub is better than the sub. The villains and many other characters sound SO good in dub.

My first time watching Naruto and Bleach now locked in to binge every episode of Naruto with y'all. My favorite anime to date is AOT and Demon Slayer.

Bleach has like 366 episodes and many fillers that can be skipped. My favourite one of the top 3 and now that it's back with newer seasons after 10 year is just amazing.

You have to watch Bleach after Naruto, it's amazing !! You just have to keep going and never give up on this anime because it takes quite a long time to start

Bleach is my personal favorite since childhood, HOWEVER One Piece is objectively better. Bleach just holds a special place in my heart. Naruto is good if you skip all the filler and gets too convoluted and goes down hill towards the end of Shipudden, and Boruto is hot doodoo garbage.

i would say just watch the second episode of all 3 since 1 episode doesnt tell you the clear story of most anime out there

bleach is the pick imo. It's the easiest to get into, the presentation is hype, the music is goated, and the plot really encourages predictions and theory crafting. I think the five of you will love it for a lot of the same reasons you loved AOT.

My comment got deleted for some reason but I vote One Piece. I watched all three and I read all three mangas. One Piece has the best story and writing out of the three. The other two have cool fights and powers.

i disagree, all naruto characters get done dirty for the sake of progressing naruto and sasuke while the side characters in one piece are more interesting than the main characters in naruto imo. also one piece highs >>>> any other shounen highs
