Just started watching and binging HxH and I'm kinda less interested in this arc... so tempted to skip non-Gon/Killua scenes... Not enjoying it at this point *peace* But ye, as Carter would say "I trust the process" (AND THE COMMENTS!!!).. Hoping (really really hopingx10000) to get into it as I continue watching <3

I'm literally a prime example, if I could've binged their whole reaction to HxH by now, I would've unsubbed until the next anime that grabbed my interest. Also if they give preferential treatment to one show it will really sour a lot of fans for other shows (understandably). Unless you mean binging HxH + keeping the schedule for other shows. But that might just mean more work for them (esp Carter with editing) and it’s holiday season (they might be traveling, hanging with family, etc).

That puts you into April for finishing the show. Not sure if you guys had looked that far ahead or not. I don't want this to sound like I'm complaining, I'm not. I've seen the show a few times already, and I love it. I also really enjoy your guys' reactions and theories. I'll watch either way you guys decide to go.

Most understand how difficult it is to get all of you together to watch that much, but this arc is a VERY long arc, with a lot of interconnected episodes. Maybe, instead of trying to pump out 3 an episode, do it sometimes when the next episode really is something that needs to be watched right after. Considering a couple of you have already watched it, you know what episodes should be watched together so instead of forcing 6 a week, it could be randomly 3 here or there, and keep the flow for the most part, but also set a bit of a better pace to get through the arc

A lot more fantasy and imo kinda more "stereotypical anime" at times (not necessarily a bad thing) with the character designs and dialogue. But this arc is fantastic and pulls you right in. Can't wait for you guys to experience it!

The NGL reflects some real world shit in some rural countries, the government is part of the gangsters, doing drugs, underground weapons, postitution business, human trafficking things like that, but in the meantime they also protect their citizens. The ant eat these gangsters, so part of their personality is very evil, combining the savageness of animals and the cruelty of these people.

They're actually ants imitating the skin of human clothes since that's the only memory they can remember as a part of their daily lives as both animal and humans. In a much later episodes a very far one, they didn't explained this it only happened 10seconds screen time to show what they really looked like. Not a lot of people pay attention to this detail. I WILL TELL YOU WHEN IT HAPPENS WHEN WE GET THERE! Again' most likely those ARENT real clothes. It's easy to miss details and dialogues just blinking an eye. OR LISTEN, Maybe they needed to put clothes on them for the sake of Children watching this show, showing them kids animal GENITILIA on screen.
