I would put FMAB somewhere up there too though, especially to people that already watched and liked ATLA.

It's not a comedy Anime, it's more like a parody Anime, but at the same time, it's really serious at times, the perfect combination of everything, highly recommend for everyone that hasn't watched Gintama yet, Gintoki the OG Goat, that's all.

Gintama is like the funniest anime and has so many references and parodies from other shows like the big 3 and even attack on titan lmao. It’s so random and comedic but then also has some of the best emotional arcs in anime that have those high ratings which are very deserved. It’s so underrated but it’s def a show where a person would enjoy it more if they have watched a good amount of anime first in order to get the references more. My bad, I don’t like writing huge ass comments but I gotta represent a lil bit for Gintama 😂🙏🏽❤️🔥
