I haven't seen it originally and I recently just watched it (couldn't wait for the guys so I watched it). I have previously only seen the show until York New arc. So here's my say: the narrator sucks - spoiled the whole arc for me. Although the last 2 episodes of the arc were okay. That's my opinion.

I wonder if it's a korean thing that Togashi took inspiration from, or if it actually was a little wink to HxH. Like the “10 seconds have past” scene and other parts. Dont get me wrong like I said this is my favorite anime and my second favorite show of all time (right behind ATLA) I just think the pacing is kinda meh at some parts. Still a 10/10 arc tho!

Honestly if this show wasn't made back in 2011 there wouldn't be a problem, back in this era everything was animated weekly and not in groups or seasons. There is a lot of time padding which sucks cause the manga doesn't have these issues. Still my favorite anime ever but man do I wish it didn't rely on time padding. Also once this part is over it goes back to peak! Just trust the process! There's about 20 episodes in this arc that legit don't need to exsist and we have gotten through like 8 of them already but its whatever, stay strong fellas!

Killua understood that they only need specific Hunters to deal with the stiruation swiftly. Sending an army would backfire. Imagine the queen eating a bunch o Nen users...

2023-12-22 20:14:30 +0000 UTCCarter, Killua was basically explaining Gon's power that's actually versatile and thought it was just "basic" and easy to read, but then Gon acted on it. As he fights Knuckle that he can do fake-outs, double jajanken, use rock-paper-scizzor randomly to confuse enemy. Just like Hisoka we thought that it's just one string putting into the other, but its actually more complicated than that, when you get caught there is more-likely no escaping the bungeegum either counter Hisoka headon or get pulled or stuck by it.
