I forgot which episode I previously left things at. I realized then that I rewatched a recap episode of a reaction of a show I've watched three times in two different series formats. Props to you guys for the reactions, and the creators for this amazing piece of work

He was injected with the philosopher's stone which is made with human souls and each one was fighting inside of him and the only one to survive was the one that was the most wrathful

2023-12-31 23:36:16 +0000 UTCI love this episode and how it goes over the major themes of the show. It's confusing on a first watch but I love rewatching it. We get a peak at hohenhiem and his inner conflict. Him using his longtime friend pinako as a stand in in his mind to try to soothe this inner conflict he's got going on. Idk if you noticed but the little girl who asked hohenhiem to dance was Trisha, Ed and Als mom. He's been around for awhile. I do highly recommend rewatching this on your guys' own time after the series is done.

Btw the only explanation I can give about how Pinako got shorter is because Japan usually depicts most elderly people as short in animation. Or maybe it's just an anime thing

Esp during the ep when Father gives Greed a lava bath. - Father to Greed: "You are both my son and You are a piece of my soul" - Greed: "You were the one who made me this way" - Father: "Return to my depths and rejoin my soul" At the end of that ep we see Father literally consume Greed's philosoher stone (in its liquid form). During Wrath's/Bradley's backstory ep, Father says to Bradley: "Do you have what it takes to become my fury? My Wrath?" The homunculus are all a physical manifestation of Father's seven deadly sins.
