Hey that’s fair dawg I am biased at the end of the day most of us are. I’ve only watched small parts of the sub and after being so used to dub I just couldn’t and I found some of the wording choices different and weird like having subtitles on while watching dub there are changes. But that all comes down to personal preference and I’m sure there’s moments where the sub is better than the dub and vice versa. I just mean from a reaction content standpoint I feel like dub is easier to follow along. But hey og shit is almost always superior

I actually think One Piece is probably the technically best story, because it has very few plot holes and stays true to it's own nature. It also has a more consistent loose power system than Naruto or Bleach. It's more silly, but there's never anything unexplainable within the world of One Piece. But I think Naruto is by far the most approachable of the big 3. I think these guys enjoy cool characters, moments, and fights. I think Naruto delivers this at a better pace than the other 2, and the animation for the fights early on is better than the other 2.

Said it perfectly, Bleach by far has the best first arc, but it goes downhill from there, so everyone that says that they probably would've enjoyed Bleach more based on the first ep reaction kind of confuses me because Bleach goes downhill for a while and really only picks up until the end while Naruto and One Piece start slower but have the better consistency and story telling.

Naruto is an amazing anime with incredible fights and characters. Don't jump to the conclusion that the beginning is all that it is. I love the original Naruto, but the show as a whole, including Shippuden, does not have the pacing that other anime have like Hunter x Hunter, Vinland Saga, or Attack on Titan. Skip the unnecessary filler and watch the show in large clumps at a time and you will love it. Other reaction channels tend to stick to once or twice a week which does not work for a long anime like this and will make you not want to watch. Looking forward to this show! BE CAREFUL SKIPPING FILLER! Websites that list filler episodes are not completely accurate and will tell you to skip arcs that contain important backstories and canon information.

Naruto has super high peaks, and honestly it's my favorite of the Big 3. I think One Piece is an overall more consistent story/world, but Naruto is just fun, and the characters are very easy to love. Once you begin to care about the characters, the story gets a lot better. Bleach is massively overrated, most people only like it because of nostalgia. The first arc is good, everything after that is worse than the majority of Naruto or One Piece.

So excited for this watch series! I started Naruto when I was 8 years old, so it has an extra special place in my heart as one of my first ever anime and favourite TV shows! I recently rewatched it with my housemate and it was so fun seeing it again as an adult, and hearing her opinions on it watching it for the first time as an adult (she knew a bit of pop culture content about it like certain characters etc. so we had a lot of fun making jokes together throughout the series. Like, why IS everyone so obsessed with Sasuke, give that kid a break!) When it comes to the Gek guys watching Naruto, I think it’s important for you guys to keep in mind this is an OLD show, so the pacing, jokes and style are very different to things like JJK which cater to the seasonal, shorter attention span watchers of the modern day. Naruto is fun to watch now as a key part of anime history! Appreciate it for what it is, and have fun finding the tropes Kishimoto was inspired by HxH, and find the tropes shows like JJK took from Naruto too! Shonen is a super fun genre because the artists and writers are always carrying on the “legacy” of the genre, which is honestly kind of what Naruto is all about in the first place! The Will of Fire! 🔥

The leaf village is kinda like a military base. Non-soldiers live on the base too but the point of the base is the soldiers who are there. Konoha is a ninja village, outside the village there's a whole country that doesn't have ninjas. The ninjas are sort of used for contracted military work, more or less.

I get what you're saying, although you can't blame them for saying that she's the most unlikeable out of all of them. Most of the time it kinda is reasonable, for example the bell test already didn't make her look good when she basically did nothing but simp for sasuke. And then other times in shippuden for example which i dont wanna disclose for spoilers. But just because you think otherwise doesn't mean you should immediately think people should not like her, it's their opinion. Personally I like sakura's development but she is rather unlikable for a good amount of episodes.

I agree but I feel like at this point, the cringy scenes in Naruto have become iconic on their own, or at least that’s how I feel. I watch every Naruto episode that ever existed and started on Boruto and I can say Naruto after x amount of episodes, it only gets better from here. Lmaoo, I grew up watching this anime, I loved it as a kid and all the way up to ship. Until round mid-late high school, and I think can safely say this hasn’t aged well🤣. The beginning is wild and honestly makes me question how I suck with it at a young age. I still love this show and it really takes off after the land of waves but I gotta say, I think these boys would definitely enjoy Bleach or One Piece a lot more. Respectfully disagree. If the goal was simply to catch up then that would be like the only point in watching Naruto was to be able to see Boruto. One Piece is worth watching all the way through because the journey is what's so enjoyable. It may take someone years to catch up to One Piece but people have been enjoying watching One Piece for almost 25 years. Catching up is just as good as being caught up.

I think watching Haikyuu in sub would be amazing because there are so many Japanese VAs they know like Gojo, Levi, Rengoku and Light Yagami that are in Haikyuu. I rather they watch it for the emotional aspect (which I believe sub did it the best for Haikyuu) than the comedy. After finishing, they can always go back and react to a dub compilation of funny moments 😊

OP is better as a fan of anime in general, but as far as reactions go and doing a certain amount of eps with a schedule, Naruto is the easier watch. Without the filler the og show and Shippuden combined is like half the length op and they're finished while op is still ongoing and will be hundreds of eps longer by the time it finishes. It's kind of like a natural progression. They watch AoT-90 eps, then HxH-150 eps, then Naruto-around 500 eps, then maybe they watch op one day. I feel like most people who watched op watched Naruto first too. The journey of an anime watcher lol.
