I recommend checking out the manhwa Noblesse, it’s a taste of a goated manhwa in a similar genre. GOD. you guys are gonna have a fucking FIELD DAY with this show. If these past 6 episodes have been this good, then I cannot wait to see the rest of the series unfold. Nothing has lived this rent free in my head and had me thinking about what I read the night before during my shift at work. I’ve been addicted to it since the episode on Saturday.

Because SL isn't technically a anime it's based on a Korean book and Manhwa. Now that you have watch many anime it's easy to see a patent in anime. Good Vs evil, Doing the right thing, friendship...etc Well Manhwa is different... It goes for, what is the most epic thing you can think of and how to deliver. So enjoy this masterpiece because it will give you everything and more than you knew you wanted

It only says survive or you get a penalty I believe Jin Woo dissociated when he got knocked down and imagined the quest saying kill them. In order to validate his jaded believes that the strong pick on the weak, and maybe there is a shady side to his character! After all the ending scene set him up to show some remorse in the rain but all he thought about was giving his sister the umbrella, not a single tear shed. Physically or metaphorically now that the stress of the situation is gone he still doesn't care

I can see it working in a novel format, but in a show it comes off pretty clunky. Especially since the scenes interspersed seem so random. Very weird decision.

If it's used well its fine and if it's used with superb skill you may not even notice it if you don't know what to look for. Its only a problem if they use it badly. You can see some incredible use of masterclass level CGI use in Fate/Stay Night anime that is just pure art. It's not CGI that's the problem, but if the artists don't know how to use it well or more usually the lack of time/bad scheduling.

Also yes his friend's name is Yoo Jinho, and Sung Jinwoo is the mc. The "Drain" ability in the comic is called "bleed," I think it depends on the translation, but I kinda like it being called Drain instead. And I'm with Carter, when I heard the music was being done by Mr Sawano, I got super pumped. The AoT music is insane. It makes scenes so much better. The animation for this show has also been so good so far, its what I was hoping for. When it was announced, I was hesitant to be too optimistic, but its been fantastic so far. Also, last thing, it seems that so far they are doing about 4 chapters of comic per episode. Which, if that stays consistent, and the rumors about it being split cour, 12 eps then another 13 eps. Thats about halfway through the comic, so 2 seasons is probably what we'll see. There are 200 chapters in the comic, 12x4 is 48, 13x4 is 52, so 100 for season 1, and another 100 for season 2.
